Simple, clean rooms. Pleasantly surprised by the clean, updated bathroom! Dorm fridge and microwave. Walking distance from multiple shops and restaurants. Good for shorter stays.

This room was dirty and busted. The door was filthy, the blinds were broken, there were nondescript stains on the shower curtain, torn screens on the window. We called on the second day of our stay and reported a broken TV and a need for toilet paper. I was told they would call TV service and call me back and that someone would come with toilet paper within the hour. Never heard from them again. We booked a deluxe double because it advertised a desk that I needed to do some work and there was no desk. I would never stay here again.

Exterior needs paint and tlc. No staff on site, need to call and get a door code to get into room. Because we stayed only 1 night we were told we were given the room 12 ft from the Hwy, very noisy. Cute and clean room, comfortable bed. However the toilet seat was smaller than the toilet rim and was awkward. Unsure I would choose this motel again.

We had very little to choose from when booking a hotel in the park rapids area. We thought the Rustic Inn would be enough to suit our needs but we were wrong! The second we walked in the door we were greeted with a horrible smell. Our baby walked around bare feet for ten minutes and his feet were BLACK. The sink faucet was falling off, there were holes in the walls from the bathroom door knob, everything was extremely outdated, smelly, and broken. We spent as little time there over our two night stay, as possible. The only thing i was willing to give it credit for was the hot shower and king size bed but that quickly went away when my husband was covered in bed bug bites after leaving! We will not be staying here again!

Id like to meet the people who gave this hotel a 5 star reciew. The room was roughly the size of a shoe box. Full size bed. Pillows that were the width of a piece of paper. Bathtub with the finish peeling off, good shower pressure though. Half of the light bulbs were burnt out. Carpet had major stains everywhere. Everything was a little sticky. It had a self checkin service, more like an air bnb. There was no on site employees that I saw.

Very Clean. Did not receive information on how to check in until I called to ask. Was supposed to get an email with information so it was stressful not knowing if I would be able to reach someone. Also no information in room related to TV, heating/cooling or checkout. Parking was confusing and could have been a problem if there were more rooms rented. The room was clean and very adequate for the price. My concerns are basically related to communication

Honestly, I could not ask for a better experience at a small inn in a small town. Not sure why others are not picking. We were very happy with the whole experience. It was off the main road. Easy to get to, very easy parking, the keys are easy to get after getting your contact email. There's loads of places to shop and eat within a 10 minute walk. The room was clean. The shower was hot. The bed was comfortable. The TV has all the channels you want. The wifi is fast. The bathroom towels were comfy. We would come back.

You get what you pay for. The room had a gueen single bed. Comfy but the pillows were crap. Invest in ten bucks and buy some decent pillows.

Disappointed

It seems this property is low budget concern. Outside of building was very dusty dirty! Window screens riped. Room seems to not been used for awhile. First shower taken, the stench of rotten eggs was overwhelming. Not a first good impression! Next day smell was gone. So we dealt with it. Fridge didn't cool, and then the kitchen sink leaked. I was thankful for a place to sleep. But this would not be a good choice in the future for my family.
