It should have been better!

Our stay was uneven. We were overcharged for parking which we now gave to dispute with our credit card company. There was a lack of available parking due to veteran motorcycke club taking up more than one space per bike, and when nicely asking the desk staff to take care of it, were told, but they're veterans. So, had to park at the hitel next door that was very accomodating. Garbage was left in the room by the previous guest and the room was not clean or cleaned during our stay. The hallways were never vacuumed and candy was left on the carpeting the entire stay. Whether short staffed or disinterested it affected the enjoyment of the stay. We were expecting better from the property and unhappy that the published rate and hard copy verifying the parking rate was not honored

Staff were very nice and accommodating. They have a cocktail hour that has chips and salsa, veggies and dip. They also have a man in the lobby playing guitar and singing, which was so relaxing after driving all day. We will definitely stay here again!

Disappointed that the parking fee is not mentioned in the hotel info. Had trouble with the front desk (man) regarding my Hilton Honors. He said I had to spend something at the hotel to get it entered?? Really? Charged me $50. Man said it was to cover charges I might make at the hotel?? Really At Bowling Green Embassy Suites these things did not happen. Why’s that?

The room had a terrible odor! The curtain near the entry door fell from the track (which was also falling from the ceiling). The tub/shower had mold and some9ne else hair in and around it. The two gentlemen that made the omeletes were very friendly and professional. Thank you to RazzleDazzle and the other gentleman (we didnt catch his name).
