First beach vacation

Right on the beach with unobstructed views. The weather conditions were marginal this time of year but no crowds to deal with. Probably would not go during the busy time of year.

Loved the room!!

Stay was pleasant.

Overall our stay was good. Had a hiccup on check-in and had to wait over an hour for someone to come and get our front door lock temporarily fixed. They came back on Sun. morning when he said he would be there and fixed the lock...no more problems the rest of our stay. It was very clean upon arrival.The week-end traffic was busy and noisy that you could hear in the bedrooms. It sounds as though I am really complaining, but everything I have mentioned was out of the owners control.

A few extras

The resort was really nice a few strange rules for the pool, ex: moving chairs. The owners need to add a few things. Extra trash bags, toliet paper, another blow dryer in 2nd bathroom. Non slip mat in tubs. Either fill ice trays or turn on ice maker when they know someone is coming in.

Never again

Poor management- called daily complaining about the jack hammer noise below us! Should coordinate repairs like that with paying guests. No later than 9:00am for 4 days until 4:00pm. Couldn’t even carry on a conversation with someone! Caused headaches and we had to leave the condo just to get away from it. I’m handicapped and had not planned on getting out as much as I did but we had no choice. Called property management every day…. Every day I got a different person that said the same thing as the day before that they would look into it and call me back. Our vacation was ruined because of the imposition of having to leave the noise was so loud. One kitchen towel and dish rag is all they provide and who ever cleaned it left DIRTY DISHES in the dishwasher! Shall I go on????

The perfect location

We felt very comfortable with most everything at 101 Windward. Loved the kitchen which was well stocked. Several items need some TLC. The master bath needs to be updated. The tub is cracked and the sink is without a stopper. The refrigerator is missing a foot and is propped up with a wad of paper. The beds only had sheets when we arrived and the heat had to be turned on but both of these items were taken care of in good time. None of these things kept us from having a good time.We would like to return..

I have been coming here to edgewater since my kids were young this time brought my grandkids. This unit needs some updating done on it! My stay was good but a tad disappointed in the little things that could have made my stay even better! But I’ll be back I love edgewater and pcb

Great location

We always stay at Edgewater Windward, however our normal condo was not available this trip so we stayed at W101. This place needs to be maintained better. The front door needs replaced as well as the sliding glass door, there was a can of WD40 and a curtain rod (for lock) veside the doir. It barely slides open and does not lock so i see why the wd40 was for. The master bath really needs an update! The hot water never completely turns off you have to find the sweet spotto get it to shut off. The second bathroom had liquid plummer beside the tub. Which after taking a shower i see why, the water pressure is so hard it cant drain fast enough. Needs dark shades or curtains in bedrooms or youll be up at 530 am 😑 its a nice place but definitely needs some major upkeep and repairs. The patio chairs are to dhort, you will be looking through the raining to see beach! Please upgrade your syuff and charge a bit more! Its a great location.

Extremely disappointing! Unit is not secure or maintained!

We have stayed at Edgewater 1/2 dozen times and I have always given glowing post trip reviews… until we stayed in this unit. 1. AC wasn’t working when we arrived. 2. Sliding door extremely difficult to open and close. The sliding door lock was broken and we were told to find a broom handle and jam it in the frame. On the 3rd day a repairman came with a shower rod to wedge against lock mechanism. He said the door and lock could not be repaired as they were old and worn out. Unit can’t be safely secured! 3. Dirty water with body hair backed up out of the guest bath drain every time the shower was used. 4. Ice maker didn’t work and no cube trays were provided. 5. Master bathtub was in terrible shape 6. Master bedroom bed sagged, had standard pillow case covers on king size pillows and lacked a fitted sheet, just a reg sheet that barely covered the mattress. We ended up sleeping in the guest bedroom. Edgewater is a great resort but this unit was a dump.

Windward stay

The ocean view was wonderful. The overall appearance of the unit was good though the bathtub in the master bedroom was terrible and I used the shower in the guest room most of the time. The lighting in the unit was poor. It would be great to have a Keurig in the condo. Both shower curtains appeared to have mold on the bottom.

Room was a disaster, sliding door was broken, sink was clogged, towel bar fell off the wall and the heat didn’t work! Maintenance came and looked at the heat after I called a ton of times, never came to fix sink or anything else!

Roaches, dirty, nightmare, blackmailed

Worst vacation ever. This unit had COUNTLESS HUGE roaches crawling everywhere. We could not eat there or hardly sleep so spent an extra 200 feeding my family outside of the condo. He did finally have someone come spray which only made the situation worse and even the exterminator said he would be upset given the condition of the condo and the amount we paid. Initially owner told us he had no other unit to move us to but then later on said he had another one but we would have to pay another 225 for cleaning fee. I told him disagreed with that as it seemed unfair but when he gave the silent treatment I agreed because we literally could not sleep or eat there after 2 sleepless nights and spending. So we move to tower 3 which was the most disgusting condo I have ever been in. There was dried food on the walls, dead bugs under the furniture and then that night we seen MORE ROACHES. This time they only were by the balcony doors/walls but we had to basically stay in our rooms, not together as a family because we were unable to reach the owner. Once we did reach him through this site I was questioned "are there really bugs in there"? As if I was lying. Offered my phone number to him multiple times and to the "guest relations" number to which I NEVER received a call back from nor a reply to my emails and I left multiple messages (except one email about the internet). I posted a generic question (no details of our stay) about reaching the owner on another site and no one could help locate a phone number of ANYONE to assist us in any way. The tvs did not work in the bedrooms, the wifi didn't work and we all had school assignments due online as well as work, the condo was absolutely filthy all dishes had to be washed before using when we did eat there, one of the balcony doors to the 11TH FLOOR did not lock and we have a toddler. He did reply through here that he would send maintenance however no one ever came and I let him know that. My husband stayed back and waited but no one ever showed up. I messaged him all throughout our stay and requested a refund but no response. After check out he apologized and said he would see what he could do as far as compensation goes. I waited and prayed some more about the situation and before I posted my review I wanted to make sure I didn't speak to soon so I asked where he was on that process. His reply was "I'm open to refunding the cleaning fee if you do not review us". Worst experience we ever had.

Great week in PCB !

Great week for the family in PCB! Check in process was easy and property manager very accessible. Master bathroom could stand a little attention with the tub but overall room was great for us and easy access to the pool and beach. Definitely would stay again!
