Overall great experience

We loved the location. Lots to do for all ages. The dryer wasn’t working and we notified them and they had someone over the next morning that fixed it. Good communication from the property management group!

207 weat

This is the third year we stay at calypso and we love it.I will say this year we found some things were a little different but not enough to make a complaint or ruin our trip still had a great time. Noticed this unit unlike previous ones hotwater tank was pretty loud being right next to living room,would have been nice to have a broom,sink smelled on disposal side when water was ran,toilets didn't flush too good. We had a great time but i think next year we will be back at calypso 3

Calypso Towers Resort

Great Place and Vacation. Only one problem TV’s. One in bedroom did not work the whole23 days because of a cable box connection and the main one didn’t work for a couple of days until connection Wes changed then I failed and was replaced with a smaller one while the owner was waiting to see if his warranty was good. All while the ncaa basketball playoffs and tournament weee being played. What kind of a refund do we get? Fred

Perfect Location with Comforts of Home

Our family of 5 had a perfect stay in this condo. We love the Calypso Resort. It is so convenient to everything. This condo was the perfect comfortable stay with my husband and in the bedroom, our teens on the bunk beds and our son on the sofa bed. Having 2 baths was a huge bonus and we were never fighting over needing a bathroom. Not a complaint, but the palm tree at the balcony level did partially block the view of the gulf. We had a very pleasant stay and I would book this condo again!

Great place to stay

We have now stayed twice at this condo building and have not been disappointed either time. We would highly recommend it. Perfect location for teens to hang out at the beach and pier park.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was clean, nicely decorated, everything there that we needed. The location was within walking distance of restaurants, stores specialty shops and a mall. Didnt need the car at all.

This condo was absolutely as advertised and was the perfect location for Ironman Florida. Great beach! Close to Pier Park and all it offers. Definitely would stay here again!

I would rent from a different owner next time.

Read the listing closely. Ask questions. We were not able to obtain enough parking permits from the owner of our unit and that issue is not outlined in their listing. Also, other units will include beach seating with umbrellas that you do not have to carry back and forth to the room. Our unit was not clean. Hairballs in the shower, macaroni noodles on the rug and dead bugs in some of the room corners on the floor. This was our 5th consecutive trip to Calypso. Their are better units that will give you more for your money and cleaner units. I would rate this unit 2 stars of of 5!

Great Location. Has a wagon, beach chairs, boogie boards, and sand toys:)

This property was very conveniently located to any and everything you would want to do. We enjoyed being right on the beach, having the pool close, and Pier Park was within walking distance. I am giving this place a 5 star review because it was very nice, we felt very safe, and having a parking garage for our vehicle was an added bonus. As far as cleanliness and maintenance I would have to give his place a 3 star. You could tell it was very rushed being cleaned between visitors and thing were skipped. The walk from the parking garage to the room was pretty far and no carts were ever available to take your luggage. I highly recommend going to your room and using the wagon in the closet to load & unload your vehicle it was a life saver! If you have small kids bring a stroller its a long walk for them.

Perfect location

This condo is a perfect location to walk several places instead of trying to drive. The property was very clean and Mr. Warren was amazing to deal with. Everything was exactly as described and we had a great time at the beach and pool for our girls trip. We will definitely be back.

Clean and comfortable in the middle of the action

We arrived about 20 min early and the cleaning staff finishing up was kind enough to let us leave our bags there while we went back to our car get the rest of our things. Was cleaned and ready on time! This unit was just perfect for a couple with kids. The bunk bed tucked into a niche in hallway worked out great. Was afraid it might keep the little one up but it was out of the way enough that it stayed dark even though some lights were on in LR. Having 2 baths was very handy as we used the one in hallway for daytime use and our kid but the one in master bedroom for ourselves. The location on 2nd floor was also convenient to allow us to take stairs or have shorter wait for elevator. There is a bit of noise from the road but it didn't keep us up at night. Activity in pool area is audible but was not excessive during our stay and ended after around 10 pm. Note about check-in. We didn't receive our email for parking pass but sent a text message to management who responded right away and quickly sent email with it. Later learned they were dealing with a recently resolved days long power outage in the adjacent building at the same time, so appreciated the quick response even more. Parking is across the road with pedestrian access via sky bridge. Traffic can get heavy right there so expect some wait when pulling car in/out of garage. Overall, great spot to stay at if you want to have easy walkable access to pier park and still be within short driving distance to other beaches in area like Rosemary, Seaside, etc.

Loved it!

Great room, clean, beautiful beachfront view, great location on strip. We had a great time and wouldn’t hesitate coming back. Pools were nice, clean, and big enough they don’t get crowded. Only thing at all negative I could possibly put was we couldn’t get the TV in the living room to work. No worries bc we didn’t need it anyway and was only in the room at night to sleep.

Great location

Clean and nice as described. On 2nd floor so just above the pool. I was afraid elevators would go out as I've had it happen before so was good with it. Love the bar by the pool with the friendly bartender! I didn't read the part about pool chairs in closet so went to the beach and was told no chairs available. Parking across the street with $20 pass that is sent afterwards. Air and refrigerator/freezer worked beautifully! Was a fun trip!

Felt like a motel. Bedroom faced the street and walkway. Noisy!! A/C wasn’t working. Pool was closed. Had a crane and construction going on next to balcony.
