Not ready for prime time

When we checking in we were greeted by a literal mountain of trash in the front garden. Overflowing bins, stacks of pizza boxes and general garbage we had to step over to get to the door. Door key worked fine. Beds and bedrooms not as described. Furniture cheap and flimsy. One roll of toilet paper for the whole house. No dishwasher soap. Back yard over grown, picnic table moldy and unusable. Random yard trash strewn about. An old slipper and other debris added to the crime scene feeling. And the kicker was whenever we would take a bath or shower water would leak through the kitchen ceiling. It took two days of complaining to VrBO, 360stays and the owner to get the trash removed and the leak checked out. Maintainance said, “you need a plumber,” but no plumber arrived for the rest of our week. For the price we paid this was a huge ripoff. If you are looking for a nice, clean, comfortable flat to rent in Oxford, keep looking. There were no reviews when I booked this place and now I know why. It is not ready for guests. A shame since the location was great. The property is not safe. Move on.
