Partially Perfect
We were in town for a volleyball tournament; 8 adults and 10 teenage girls.
I'll start with the pros, because there were many:
The house was immense and VERY comfortably fit all 18 of us. It never felt crowded, everyone had their own space. The family room downstairs is huge and we loved kicking back after the games and watching a movie. The kitchen was spacious enough for 5 moms to move around in at the same time. The mattresses were very comfortable. The pool was AMAZING to have...it was one of our favorite features of the house. The air conditioning worked perfect, and since it was June that was very appreciated. The resort center had a larger pool, cabanas, restaurant and bar. We had a fantastic time using these amenities, they were all clean and we experienced great service.
The cons:
There was no coffee pot...big bummer when you are getting up at 5am to head to a tournament. I called the management company (Executive Villas) twice the first two days, was promised a coffee pot would be dropped off both times, a coffee pot was never dropped during our stay.
There are not enough towels in the house. Not even one bath towel per person. We had less than 15 bath towels for 18 people. Pain in the butt. This is an ongoing problem with this property according to the reviews. Executive Villas should pay attention to that and correct it.
Whoever collects the garbage doesn't bother completely emptying the garbage "bench"...there were rolls of toilet paper and paper towel that had disintegrated into the driveway, there was random garbage left in the bottom of the bench and everything that had spilled over the side of the bench over the last month was still sitting there.
The cleanliness was just not acceptable. The family room couch is stained badly and really needs to be replaced. There was dried cheese on two of the dining room chairs when we arrived. The upstairs hall bathroom had a number of disgusting yellowed dirty white towels thrown in it...you could tell they had been wet at one point and were tossed in there and left to dry in clumps.
Two of the chairs upstairs were broken and unsafe to sit in.
The stairs hadn't been vacuumed.
There was garbage on the floor behind the curtains.
When I called to talk to the office (Executive Villas) about this they asked me to take pictures of it all and email them. I never heard anything back (not that I was surprised given the coffee pot situation).
Executive Villas needs to be paying more attention.
