This house is not luxury as the title suggests. It’s adequate and in some cases inadequate. There were not enough towels provided for everyone to shower and use the pool. We tried to wash towels and the dryer broke. We all drip dried until the issue was resolved. There were not enough eating utensils for the number of beds. Most of the hair dryers were broken and one of the showers did not work well enough to rinse soap from hair. The soap provided was cheap motel type soap. We were given two trash bags that didn’t fit the containers. Our stay was 11-14 people for 1.5 weeks. The parking was not sufficient to hold the number of vehicles for the number of people staying. The HOA has strict parking rules and we spent a lot of time juggling cars so people could get out of their vehicle or get back to the house. We paid extra to heat the pool. It didn’t work correctly for the first portion of our stay. They were very responsive and did fix it — the entire unit had to be replaced. Our biggest frustration was that it was apparent there was very little care in making sure the house was ready for my large family. It wasn’t sufficiently cleaned. We were barely given towels, soap, trashbags or toilet paper for the stay. Overall the owner and head of maintenance were very responsive and kind (thus my rating of 3) but I don’t feel like we should have had to spend our week waiting for things be fixed or dealing with what we dealt with. Nothing was luxury, as stated.
