Great stay, perfect for families

The house was very clean and updated. The communication with the property manager was fast and clear. The house was exactly as advertised, was in a great location, and had great community pool/amenities. Would highly recommend.

Clean decent house, very corporate process

The house is clean and in reasonable shape. The theme of the house is efficiency of ROI. The furnishings in the house, the finish work, the carpet, etc. is definitely of a 'landlord special' quality. The air hockey table is too cheap and worn to be functional. Never could get the three remote system figured out on half of the TVs in the house. The check in process feels very much like conducting a transaction with a corporation via an attorney. Particularly the email sent soon after booking that requested documents to be completed and signed in half a dozen locations along with a warning that if the documents are not completed and submitted in the next 3 or 4 hours the reservation is canceled. So keep a close eye on your email. The welcome book that is found in most rentals that typically contains recommendations for great restaurants that the locals enjoys, tip on where to locate things in the area, etc. contains nothing more that a copy of the contract that was emailed with a reminder of the rules and expectations of guests. Some examples include no wearing shoes on the carpet, no holding your breath in the small pool (seriously), the cost of every specific item in the house if damaged or missing, etc. I had no issues with maintenance, cleanliness, responsiveness, etc. and the house is large and served its purpose. No serious complaints, will just try to rent from an individual in the future and avoid the corporate feeling experience.

Good for all ages

We had kids, mom and dads, grandma and grandpas all at the house. It was at full capacity and was very comfortable. Truly enjoyed the area very clean and short drive to disney.

Great Space

Beautiful home with plenty of space. We had 6 adults in the home and everyone enjoyed. Close access to Disney Parks with quick trips via Uber or Cabs. As previously mentioned the living room furniture could use some repair and was only used for a day when the hurricane came through and the parks were closed. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms very spacious.

Loved the location

Positives: The location of this property was excellent. Storey Lake Resort in relation to theme parks, restaurants, and shopping was very convenient. This house in particular was just around the corner from the clubhouse and walking distance to the on site water park which is included with your stay. We enjoyed that very much on our days off from activities. The home is very spacious and has a great layout for multiple families with children or teens. We were pleasantly surprised to find a high chair and even some air mattresses in the closets. Negatives: the furniture is falling apart in the living room. There are rips in the couch cushions and they seem to just slide off when you sit on them. The patio furniture also needs replaced. There is a lot of normal wear and tear on the house itself that doesn’t seem to effect the functionality. However, the grill only worked one time. (To be fair we didn’t notify the owners because we were so busy and I’m sure they would have fixed it). The pool heater also wasn’t working when we arrived for several days (they sent someone to fix it and refunded those days). The water pressure in the master shower upstairs was just a drizzle and made it difficult to shower. But again we didn’t have time to have a maintenance person working on anything so we just dealt with it. I’m sure it’s an easy fix. Cleanliness: this is the only real issue we had. The first day we arrived it was obvious the home had not been thoroughly cleaned. There was mulch on the floor, there was hair and makeup on the sheets and comforter of the room downstairs, there was a used bar of soap beside one of the sinks, there was toothpaste in one of the sinks, hair in the carpets, etc. However, the home provides a vacuum so we just used it in those few areas and washed the sheets. Some of the blankets in the closets also had not been washed so we washed those before using them. Communication: this was excellent. We got very fast responses from the managers of the property anytime we had an issue that we chose to report. They were quick to send someone to remedy the situation. I’m sure if we had reported every single concern they would have been more than happy to take care of it. We just had such a busy week planned and chose to wash things ourselves or use things we brought rather than bother them with every single issue. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Storey Lake.

Amazing location and space to stretch out!

This is the perfect house for multiple families to share on their Disney vacation! We loved that everyone could have their own space and bathroom but also great social space to hang out in. The kids loved the pool and the game room. Parents loved the well equip kitchen, washer and dryer and how short the drive to Disney was. The club house with the pools, lazy river and water slides were also a huge perk! We would definitely stay here again.

Great house!

The house was clean and was exactly what we needed for our family vacation! The pictures showed a grill, and there was one there, but the check in paperwork said there was an additional charge to use it. We decided not to spend that much for one or two uses. After 4 days, someone came while we were gone and locked it up! The pool is great and the location to the community center was amazing! We would definitely recommend staying here!!

Disappointed

The furniture and rugs in the living area were very dirty, stained with broken zippers. Toilet paper holders falling out of walls, walls dirty and chipped, towels old and thin, needing update. It appears that many of the homes nearby were weekend rentals with large number of occupants. Security a concern with open gates and pool area overwhelmed on weekend. My feeling is pool area taken over by people not staying in the area. Noise level high.

Awesome Stay

This property was amazing. Everything you could ever want is at Storey Lake resort. The property itself is well taken care of and any questions, concerns, etc...I had was taken care of promptly by the management team. We loved our stay and would return again!

Great place to stay

We loved this house! It had just a few things broken, but not to bother our stay at all, and if you let them know they won’t charge you for them. I wished they cleaned the pool while you stayed there a couple of times, but other than that the place was perfect, great communication, the neighborhood was really nice and everything was so close we didn’t have to worry about anything! We will definitely stay there again!
