When we arrived the lobby was a mess and a sign said remodeling was in process so we should be patient. The first thing the employee at the desk addressed was that the hotel would not tolerate drugs or prostitution and we had to sign a separate form to confirm we understood. We should have turned around right then but we didn’t. It is hard to imagine the lack of descretion that would lead to asking people over 70 years of age to sign a form assuring the staff that we would not break those laws. It was immediately clear that the photos posted on the website were not taken at this location. After signing in and receiving card keys, we learned that the elevator did not work. The internet did not work consistently. There was no guide to the television so we had to hunt through the channels one at a time to find a national news cast. The vent fan and heating light in the bathroom didn’t work. There were 3 electrical outlets in the bathroom none of which were GFI. This hotel is dirty. The carpet on the second floor was littered with bits of paper as was our room. Our room was never serviced which means no vacuuming and supplies were not replaced. The water was shut off on Friday afternoon so we could not shower before going out to dinner on Valentine’s Day. It was restored to service after 9 PM but was off again before 8 AM on Saturday. When we called the front desk at 8 AM, we were told the supervisor was on her way. When we left at 9:45, she was still not available.

This is a fun, funky place. Every staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and helpful. The room is good and the pillows and bedding were particularly comfortable. We really appreciate that because it's something we don't find as often as we would like when we travel. There are some little maintenance issues that could use more attention - loose handrails in the stairs, loose latch on the door, etc. A good walkabout with a screwdriver would resolve most of those issues.

When we first got to the property and went to check in all the employees were standing and talking we waited 10 min before someone decided to check us in than during the check in the person who was checking us in just talked about the office drama wasnt paying attention to what she was doing and took her 15 min just to give us our room key she didnt make eye contact and we had to ask her to stop talking and focus on getting us checked in. The rooms were completely misleading online they werent clean and we found some type of stuff on the bed we didnt feel comfortable staying in that room so we switched rooms. In the mornings the cleaning crew was so loud banging doors and vacuuming at 8 am and slapping the vacuum against our door woke me and my siblings up. Any time we came into contact with the staff they were always on their phone or caught up talking about office drama. The pictures online are not true to the actually facility. I would not recommend staying here.

Please put on the website that you don't take cash, or if it's there, make it more obvious please. Otherwise, the room looked nice and the gal that checked us in was very friendly, even when we had to get toilet paper for our room. (Since there was hardly any left on the roll when we got in the room)

The room was clean for the most part. Not trying to be picky but the sheets and the pillow cases had a fer mysterious spots on them. The shower was huge, the shower head on the other hand was nice but didn't put out very much pressure. The bed was comfortable and the floor was clean.

The picture shown here is nothing like what I was shown. windows were high up because the room was below ground level, windows had bars and were dirty as was the carpet. black plastic bags pf dirty linen was stacked outside the room door. Totally not a place I wanted to lay my head or bring my wife into. we left.

Room was not clean. Was not supposed to be charged, but was anyway. Asked for a refund and they would not help. Do not recommend!!!

It is close to downtown and the girl at the front was very nice. Did not like the broken window in front and broken toilet seat in my room. Also, the sign in the parking lot warning me that if my car were broken into the hotel is not responsible.
