The chalet is located at the Junction end of town, just a 5 minute stroll to restaurant’s , bars, cafes and coffee. The supermarket is a 5 minute drive.

Turoa Ski Field is only a 19 minute drive, and Whakapapa is 50 minutes away. Enjoy unlimited fibre Wi-Fi and a smart TV, so you can stream your favourite shows and movies using your own accounts after a day of adventure.

The gas fireplace heats the chalet within minutes, complemented by double-glazed windows and full insulation to keep you warm and cosy year-round. Curl up on the couch with a good book, or prepare a delicious meal in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with a dishwasher for easy clean-up. Start your mornings right with the Breville Nespresso coffee machine (pods provided) and milk frother—perfect fuel before heading out for the day.

When you return, make use of the dedicated drying room with plenty of space to hang your gear. Equipped with a dehumidifier, it ensures everything is dry and ready for the next day’s adventures.

We had such a great stay here! The accommodation was very family-friendly, and the kids absolutely loved relaxing in the spa while taking in the amazing views of Mt Ruapehu. Being right in the heart of Ohakune made it super easy to explore everything the town has to offer. Highly recommend this place, we’ll definitely be staying again!

Weekend Getaway

Had a lovley stay at Hayleys property. True to the listing its just as she describes. We had a great weekend away being able to walk for breakfast, coffee and a short drive to local other local attractions. We had a slight issue with a light switch and Hayley had an electrician on site within the hour. Highly recommend choosing this place for your next visit to Ohakune, we will be back

Lovely accomodation in Ohakune

We loved the accomodation, which was beautifully appointed for a great girls weekend away. The spa pool a wonderful bonus after a full day out. The beds were super comfortable, lovely quality linen and piping hot shower water. Highly recommend this gorgeous accomodation.
