Property was great! Perfect for our stay to attend soccer tournament in Oceanside. Debby and Mike fabulous hosts! They thought of everything! Thanks for the great restaurant recommendations and the little personalized note (and yummy cake). :)

Great place to stay!!

This was an amazing experience. The hosts were excellent and good wirh communication. They were very helpful with any inquiry we had and provided good suggestions for things to do.The place itself was fantastic. We were a group of 4(2 couples) and the place was spacious. The amenities were numerious including a fully stocked kitchen and excellent coffeebar. It made us feel like w were right at home. The location was very central to a lot of places... We would absolutley stay here again

This place exceeded our expectations. The location is great, close to everything you need. House is very equipped for anything you may need, beds were amazingly comfy and cleanliness was 2nd to none. This place was awesome and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful house & owners make you feel right at home!

We have stayed at many vacation rentals & this one ranks high. We felt welcomed from the moment we walked in. So many sweet personal touches. The house is well stocked, meticulous & beautiful. If we go back to San Diego, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Five stars well deserved!

Beautiful Home!

We had an amazing stay in this well appointed Casita, perhaps one of the nicest vacation rentals we've ever been in. Beds were comfy, the AC worked very well with each room having the ability to set their own temperature, and the kitchen was a dream for an avid cook like myself. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride in making their guests very comfortable. Thank you Mike & Debby, can't wait to come back!

Family getaway

Mike and Debby’s home was perfect for our family. Their home was clean and exactly as described. Their home felt like a home with all the details. The amenities in their home were extensive. They provided many options for us to use in the kitchen to the bathrooms included everything you needed. Mike and Debby were also very responsive. We enjoyed spending time on the patio enjoying the weather and fresh air. It’s conveniently located to restaurants and less than 2 miles from the beach either driving or walking. We wil definitely stay here again.

It was perfect!

We were in town for my husband’s birthday, and this space was perfect. With teens, we needed the space. And it was just like the pictures, or better! We would definitely stay here again if we come into town!

Complete Perfection

We came here for a family reconnection with our two 85 year old mothers. They had been told that the local Best Western had the best accommodations. *Ahem*. My cousin and I found Debby and this gem for the exact same price. I have stayed in countless rentals and this was by far the best. Every single detail was thought through. It was spotless, the beds were amazing, the space was spectacular. The chocolate cake Debby left is became dessert for one of our family nights. Don’t miss out on this place. You will feel immediately at home.

We absolutely LOVED staying here. The owners (Mike and Debby) were the best hosts ever. Their communication, support, and flexibility was off the charts. They let us check in early and checkout late. When we arrived, they had a Bundt cake with a handwritten card welcoming us. They overstocked everything! They had things such as razors, toothbrushes, laundry soap, mouthwash, snacks, spices and much more. We will definitely be back. Thank you Mike and Debby for what an example of 5+ star service entails!

Beautiful home!!

The Hideaway was perfect for us and another couple. The home was fully equipped with everything you need and the addition bonus - small amenities like toothbrushes, makeup wipes, and even slippers in the master suite made it all the best for us. The owners truly care about their guests and thought of all possible need. Will definitely book again.

This property was definitely a step above! Everything stated about this property was accurate and above and beyond expectations! The host were easy to communicate with! Family weekend stay

We stayed at Casa de Kona with adult kids for a long weekend. It was one of the best VRBO’s we ever stayed in! The place is gorgeous, comfortable, safe and close to everything. Mike and Debby are so easy to communicate with. They have thought of all the details and needs that family staying at their place would need. Stayed here with my parents during a visit to see my brother. Great location with easy access to I-5 and not far from the beach. Outside space was a bonus which we really enjoyed. Mike and Debby were great to deal with and very responsive.

Great property. Will book again.

This is a great property and had all of the things we might need. Mike and Debby were great hosts and very responsive. Our boys were excited about the yard toys in the backyard and getting to stay in the master bedroom upstairs. We will book it again the next time we’re in South O. We’ll need to return in the Summer or Fall so that we can take advantage of the beach toys as the ocean will be warmer than in February.

A Perfect Stay

If you are looking for a very nice, clean spacious 3 bedroom 2 bath … this is the house for you . Mike and Debby did a great job weigh the home, really clean (spotless, I’ve never said that about a VRBO) and spacious and MOST important to us is the comfort of the bed. These beds were awesome,we stayed 4 nights 3 days and sleep as if I were in my own bed at home. Close to EVERYTHING, 2 mins from I-95 in the beautiful Oceanside Ca. Btw I spoke several mins with Becky is great and very person …Thx guys should our travels bring us up Oceanside we’ll definitely be stay here.

Absolutely 5 star home! No expense spared. Owners thought of everything we could possibly need. Such a comfortable relaxing vibe. The back patio was wonderful! Open concept floor plans are our favorite and this one was perfect! Close proximity to stores, beach and freeway were plusses. We would definitely go back. Hosts are the best!

This house spoiled us....

This was my first experience using a house rental service, and quite frankly, if this is what I can always expect then I'm sold!! Debby and Mike run a first class operation and we did not want for a thing. Whenever I had a question, Debby promptly responded and is a very gracious host. You can tell that they take alot of pride in this rental. The house itself was really much nicer than expected; clean, well stocked with all essentials, including any cooking gadget and/or electric appliance. My husband usually has trouble sleeping away from home, but the beds were very comfortable, so no complaints! The upstairs master suite is awesome, unfortunately there were too many stairs for me and my husband to navigate daily, but our daughter thoroughly enjoyed it! Although we were expecting to be closer to the beaches, it really wasn't hard to get to any of them and the house came with 2 sheds fully stocked with all types of beach stuff and coolers. Our grandkids wanted to go to the beaches every day after sightseeing, so we didn't get to spend alot of time making use of all the toys or the yard, but it was nice to have them available and to have the back patio to chill out in the evenings. I wish they owned other properties in other states, but if we ever go back to Oceanside, we will definitely be staying at Casa de Kona
