Quiet Neighborhood

Loved the remote and quiet neighborhood. The canal and kayakes were a bonus. Our group got a lot of use from the hot tube as well. The house itself suited our group perfectly with the number of bedrooms and the size and quality of the beds. It was well stocked and had all the convenieces we needed. It was also really close to our local family. A great fit all around. Only negative was that the paddle boat rudder was broken.

If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing place that feels like home, this is the perfect space. The house has everything that is needed to cook. The porch is perfect for morning coffee and late evening conversations. We will visit again.

Lovely place for a family gathering

We really enjoyed our stay at the blue Heron. There were fantastic restaurants nearby and we were able to cook a great meals in the beautiful and well equipped kitchen. The neighborhood was peaceful and the house was clean. We enjoyed relaxing in the back yard in the mornings and evenings

Spacious, beautiful home

We loved staying at the Blue Heron for our stay in Ocean Springs. We had multiple generations, from 92 yrs to 18 yrs. My father has a walker and he could get around for the most part. He had trouble getting the walker into the toilet rooms, and outside in the backyard, but overall wonderful time. The home was very clean and tidy upon entry, and had many amenities that weren't even mentioned. It was clear that the owners knew how to host and had items that some travelers may forget to bring. The pantry had condiments, spices and seasonings that we usually, so that was nice that we didn't have to purchase them. We ate at the house quite a bit and there was plenty of room for our group at the dining table (seating for 8). The neighborhood where the house is located is quiet and friendly. The back covered and screen in porch was great to watch the lightening and hear the rain. The house is near a lot of sights, so we didn't have to travel far. We would love to stay at the Blue Heron again if our travels take us to that area again.

Wonderful stay!

Our family evacuated the Florida Panhandle right before Hurricane Helene and this property was the perfect escape! We didn't want to leave and come back to reality. The screened deck was so tranquil and the backyard was perfect for our dog. We will absolutely book again on our next trip to the area!

Perfect Gathering Place for Multiple Generations

My sister and I traveled with our elderly mother and her young children to visit teenage nieces and nephews in Ocean Springs. The Blue Heron was the perfect fit! It is ADA accessible as our mom uses a walker, but also had a pack-n-play and a high chair. So many amenities for the teens to do including the hot tub, kayaks, and board games. We will be back! for the baby

Quick Weekend Trip

We had a great stay at the Blue heron house. It fit three families with kids of various age ranges and had plenty of room. Hot tub was a great bonus feature and had it stayed dry we would have definitely used the fire pit. Overall great experience for a quick trip for a Coast Guard retirement party. We will definitely be back! Would recommend this place to anyone staying in or around Ocean Springs.

Family vacation

A beautiful home that is spacious and nicely decorated, it was perfect for our 3 generation family vacation. The beds were comfortable and linens quite nice. The living and dining rooms were large with plenty of comfortable seating. Each member of our family had a very enjoyable time and we all loved the back deck and fire pit seating area.

Hospitable Host

When we found this property, we couldn't wait to see what it was like and it definitely rose above and above our expectations. The hosts had everything our 6 person family could need during our stay. We especially enjoyed the informative messages around the house and welcoming smores kit when we arrived. Check in was easy and communication was very responsive. We so enjoyed the property! We stayed there while working nearby. Very impressed with the house and property! Our biggest complaint was not having enough time to relax and take in the local sights. But there will be a next time!! I recommend this property for sure!

Blue Heron was Terrific!!

The house was warm and inviting! The furniture very comfortable and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. The screened in patio off the back of the house was terrific. I had my morning coffee out there while watching my grandson and we had many dinners on the porch as well. We took long walks around the neighborhood and enjoy the beach which was just down the road. The location was great. Lots of good restaurants and close to Biloxi for additional fun. The house exceeded my expectations! It was wonderful, and we had a great time!
