50th Anniversary celebration

We needed a large house to accommodate our family when we traveled to Biloxi to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. This house was perfect. It afforded us privacy, space, every comfort imaginable and a private beach! We will absolutely use this property again when we visit our Gulf Coast family.

Quiet beachfront home

We don’t like crowds so this was perfect for us bayou on the back of the house with beautiful sunsets front faces gulf. Biloxi just 30 min away. Downtown ocean springs is quite with lots of shops and eateries. We would stay here again.

Celebrated my mom’s 86th birthday at Pelican for a week. My siblings, grown grandchildren, & great grands joined us. Beautiful rooms, rockers on both porches, the beach, a swing and a long table to gather. The pelicans were a plus. Thank you. Memories were made

Beautiful home!

The home was very clean. Kitchen well stocked. Could have used some dish towels. Living room was comfortable, and open to the main living areas of home. Beds were all very comfortable, we all slept well! Very quiet neighborhood with great access to the gulf. Would be nice if we could have received the check out process at the time we received the check in instructions. Also the tv service is all streaming. Thought it was direct tv. Did not care for that as we like to get local channels where we stay. All in all was a very nice hiE to stay at.

Nice place to get away from it all.

The property is very nice. We came in late at night and had no trouble finding it. It's across a small drive from the beach. The beach is not groomed, not a great place for swimming, but the views are great & a 20 minute drive gets you to a beautiful uncrowded beach. We didn't see another soul in 4 days at the house. I think a car may have come by twice. We had a most relaxing time.

Family time

Wonderful time with family. Weather wasn't great, but it was a good time. My only concern was the 10 o’clock check out time, that was really stressful for me. Also having to bring all the linens down stairs to the laundry area bothered me. I like to leave a place looking good, with all linen in the floor of the laundry room, made me feel like i had left it in total disarray!!!!

Peaceful Getaway

The home was just as advertised. Amazing well stocked kitchen, and great master bath. Spacious house with room for everyone. We sat on the balcony every morning and evening to listen to the surf and watch the pelicans. Evening hermit crab walk on the beach with the kids was fun. Quiet area away from it all. Kids played in the sand and surf daily. The beach is private, not "maintained." Lots of surf fishing - only thing of size were hard heads. (small croaker, whiting, and one small redfish) Spent some time in "downtown" Ocean Springs, adorable little town. Great public beach. Had a pedicure at the little place near the house - great service. Did have a miscommunication upon check in but it was rectified immediately to our complete satisfaction. Would absolutely go back and stay again. If you like the quiet ocean life, stock the house with groceries and never leave.

Awesome beach house!

We chose this house for a weeklong stay over the 4th of July along with two other couples. We wanted to lounge on the beach and relax away from the crowds and boy did this place deliver! We had the beach to ourselves almost every day and even we weren't the only ones there, there were just a couple other folks laying out in the sun a few hundred feet away. The house itself was spectacular with plenty of open space for us all to gather. The furnishings are extremely nice and the beds are super comfortable! We all got some great nights sleep and were able to really unwind. The kitchen was stocked with all sorts of items which has not always been our experience. The washer and dryer allowed us to keep up with towels and dirty laundry. We brought our own detergent, but there was a small quantity provided in case we hadn't. The same with the dishwasher, which was super quiet! A gas grill is provided for cookouts and it is a good size. I mostly grill with charcoal but I was just happy to have a grill at all since I was planning on smoking some ribs for the 4th. It is a 3-burner grill and I had plenty of room to do 3 racks of baby back ribs along with a foil pouch to hold wood chips for adding smoke. After using the grill two times before to grill steaks and chicken, there was still enough fuel for the 5-hour cook of the ribs. It helped that there was only one burner being used on low heat. But even if we had run out, Sue said we could do a propane tank exchange at the local store and she would reimburse us the cost. Glad we didn't need to do that, but it was nice to have that reassurance! The only things we found a bit unusual were small in nature. The master bathroom does not have any towel racks so towels need to be folded and placed on the sink between uses. The freezer only had racks at the bottom and top with a lot of blank space in the middle. We didn't have a lot there so it wasn't a big deal. And the bottom half of the interior staircase leading outside was not finished like the rest. Nothing major, just more of an observation since the rest of the house is finished nicely. Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay. It fit the bill for everything we were looking for. I would not hesitate to book this property again. Sue is very easy to work with and was available anytime we had questions both before and during the trip.

Right on the beach

We loved staying here. It is right on the beach. The “road” you have to cross is really a the size of a gold cart path. It is literally 25 steps from bottom of the stairs to the beach. Such a beautiful view from the front porches. Private beach was perfect. We love natural beaches. Our two labs loved swimming in the gulf as well. A/C worked great. All you need is there. Beach chairs were great.
