PEACE. PRIVACY. SECLUSION. This location shuts out the noise of the city and instead blankets you with the roar of the ocean and singing of birds. That’s a big package for an 85’ X 15’ driveway with “110V" (“120”) exterior outlet access. One side of the driveway fronts a private wooded lot and the other side a wooded rustic Host Cottage. You are welcome here if you share our values of respect for all people and all property.

There is no concierge on duty at any time.

EXPLORE the trails within the Weatherwax Nature Preserve and the Oyhut Wildlife Recreation Area. The Weatherwax Preserve is a 121-acre area with a 1.2-mile loop trail which winds through the forest and skirts Duck Lake. The Oyhut Wildlife Area is part of the larger Johns River Wildlife Area and is known for its waterfowl hunting and birding opportunities. And don’t miss the beautiful ocean front High Dunes Trail.
LEARN about the fauna and flora of Ocean Shores at the Ocean Shores Interpretive Center School, a non-profit center like a museum with tours and displays on the history, geography, wildlife, shipwrecks, the sea and more…. And don’t miss the quaint Ocean Shores Library or the Ocean Shores Visitor Information Center!
EAT casual snacks or enjoy fine dining at many diverse restaurants, Pubs, Bars and opportunities such as the Fish Shack, Our Place Restaurant, Oyhut Bay Grill, Rusty Anchor, Shore Shack or Windjammer Restaurant & Lounge.
