CLEAN! The hotel was beautiful inside and out. Great location on the boardwalk and the ocean front rooms (especially bottom level with patio) are a must book option when staying in OC.

Great experience! Clean room and I loved the ocean front balcony. I arrived early and was able to check in with no problems. There’s self parking available. The parking spaces are a little tight but doable. Great location on the boardwalk, about the middle of entire boardwalk. Beach is within footsteps, surrounded by restaurants, stores, etc. I ate in the hotel twice, once for breakfast and it was good and once for diner. Kudos to the bartender when we had dinner. The kitchen was backed up but they let us sit near the bar and e had drinks and the bartender was awesome he took out drink order and was able to take out food order and get it pushed through so food came out in a timely manner. He was very attentive all while making drinks for everyone. There's a guy playing at the piano for added ambience-great job! The front desk and staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend to others and I will return.

Everything was good. Location to the boardwalk was perfect. Close to shopping and eateries. The only complaint is that I felt the room was little too warm and we adjusted the temp as low it could go.

The hotel is very clean and the room was renovated. However, the darkening curtains are not the best. Light goes through. You can easily hear the noise from inside and outside the hotel, which woke me up every morning. Parking is available and easy to park.

The hotel is upgrading the rooms - 20 parking spots under the building were used by the work company to place their materials, paint, wallpaper, rugs, etc. Now you have to pay $10 a day for parking under the building or using the parking spot across the street, unacceptable for the cost. Redoing the pool and pool area, looks nice. Upgraded rooms were nice and clean. Room rate went up $10 to $20 every day. Started at $144 ended at $554. Booked a room with a balcony oceanside, ended up with oceanside patio 1st floor, was not happy and disappointed. Asked to see if we can change the room, was told we would have to move everyday if we wanted a oceanfront balcony room. Unacceptable. I have stayed at this hotel many times and never had a problem. This will be the last time staying at this hotel.

I did not expect a patio level room and the hotel would not let me change it because i booked via expedia. There were also painters, that put up a ladder next to my patio. I had no privacy. I coukd not sit outside,. The patio and ladder ruined my visit.

First of all, Expedia states parking is free but I was charged $10 per night. I am currently requesting a refund. A large portion of the parking area is being used as storage for the their construction project, making it difficult to find a spot. The construction workers also propped open a door with a rock to run an extension cord leaving the entire hotel accessible to anyone who walked by. I wouldn’t mind if they did this and were present to keep an eye on the door but they did this and left! Staff were great and rooms were clean - I would recommend at the right price when the construction is done.

Great Hotel

Our stay was great. The front desk was attentive and ready to help. Additionally, the restaurant was excellent. Furthermore, the room was wonderful. It was cold outside but we still enjoyed the view of the ocean. There was renovations going on but you would have never known that unless you went looking. I will definitely stay at this location again.
