We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Views Apartment. The place was very spacious, clean, quiet, and the views were absolutely amazing. The apartment included so many thoughtful extras, like ice packs and cooler bags, which were incredibly helpful for day trips. We also really appreciated the generous number of towels provided.Our travel day was very challenging with major flight delays, and we arrived almost nine hours late, close to midnight. Shanice was still there waiting for us with a warm smile, which meant so much after such a long day. She was also very helpful ahead of time, sending us information about nearby grocery stores and attractions we were interested in visiting that very night.It’s a windy area, which makes for beautiful breezes but can get a bit cool at night. The pool was on the cooler side (speaking from someone who likes warmer water). Overall, a fantastic stay at a beautiful place, we would definitely stay again!

The view here was awesome! Chris, the owner and Shanice, the property manager, couldn't be more thoughtful! They were informative and always on call. The people of Barbados were very kind as well. Of course the beaches and weather were terrific but without the nice haven to return and relax every night it wouldn't be the same. The pool in back for days you just want to hang out and not drive was relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed the property!

Stunning Location

We had a wonderful holiday. This is a great base to explore the east coast and all it has to offer. We also spent some lazy days around the pool, very peaceful.We were very well looked after by Shanice.

We had a very pleasant stay

Our property owner communicated with us very well. He also let us check in early on the day of our arrival and he was very responsive if I had any questions or concerns, the rental was very clean and comfortable specially, the beds. We had a very nice time. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and a great pool.

Beautiful pool and ocean views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ocean City Apartments. Best surprise was waking up the first morning and realizing what a great view of the ocean and sunrise there was from our patio.! My 6 yr old absolutely loved the pool, which was large and refreshing. We had debated getting something closer to the beach vs a place with a pool and I’m so glad we chose this place as a dip in the pool in the evening was so nice. (Besides, nothing is very far away in Barbados and beaches were easy to get to). Place was comfy and had everything we needed. Only suggestion is to bring an eye mask if you’re a light sleeper as the bedroom blinds don’t block a ton of light in the morning.

Ocean City

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ocean City Apartments. The constant sea breeze and beautiful view provide a very relaxing vacation. The unit was spotless clean. Chris and his local host Izzy think of everything one might need. We highly recommend staying here.

Fabulous location with excellent hosts

After booking this property the owner Chris contacted me and made himself available to answer any questions or queries we had. Chris and his wife went over an above as a hosts ensuring that we had everything we needed, this included recommending tours, restaurants and arranging car rental and transportation from the airport. Isy the property manager was also on hand throughout our stay welcoming us at the airport, transporting us to the apartment and showing us around the local area. She also arranged for us to have groceries waiting for us when we arrived. All of the above made our stay extra special. The apartment was spotless clean and well maintained and we had everything we needed. The location could not be faulted and we benefited from superb clifftop views and a constant cooling breeze which kept the bugs and mosquitoes away. There is a grocery store a short drive away and some lovely restaurants in and around the Crane resort if you don’t want to stray too far. There are a number of lovely beaches nearby including Foul Bay, Debra bay, Shark Hole and Bottom Bay. Bottom Bay is a must see as it was voted one of the most romantic beaches in the world. The apartment is in a quiet and beautiful area and is the idea place to relax and unwind be it sitting in the cooling breeze or taking a dip in the pool. My only criticism is we only booked two weeks. Top tip navigating the island. Download an offline map via Apple Maps so you don’t need mobile data.

Quality accommodation, fantastic hosts

I can’t say enough! We have just returned from a 12 night stay, we were welcomed by Chris and Izzy with open arms! Nothing was too much trouble, the accommodation was quality, beds were so comfortable, you really wanted for nothing during our stay! Pool area was so relaxing! We were given tips and advice, the best places too eat, trips out, and too top it off Chris and Izzy are just lovely lovely people!

Beautiful property

From initial booking enquiry until leaving the apartment communication and response time from Chris and Isy was outstanding. Isy picked us up from our previous property, took me to the supermarket (stopping on the way to show me some beautiful sights) and took us to the airport on our return home, for a very reasonable fee. Isy is very personable in that I feel I made a new friend :) Everything you need for a self catering holiday is in the apartment. The furnishings, bedding, towels, are all lovely and new. It’s obvious that Lexy, the lady that keeps the apartment 5 star clean really takes pride in her work. It was spotless! The pool is brand new and more than big enough to do laps in and the pool area is a real sun trap! The view of the ocean and lovely south coast breeze from the terrace is breathtaking. There’s a well stocked supermarket around 15 mins walk from the property, nearest beach around 30 mins walk. And bus stop with regular busses around 10 mins walk. The neighbourhood is safe and locals you pass in the street are always friendly. I would recommend a car if you don’t like using the bus as there aren’t any restaurants or bars within close distance. Overall I had a lovely relaxing stay in ocean villa apartments and would highly recommend. Big thanks to Chris Isy and Lexy ;)
