Remove this listing. There are cockroaches in room 216. Staff doesn't clean after guests. Old towels were kept in the shower.

Close to where I needed to be...but

I chose this hotel because it was close to where I needed to be and the price was attractive. The room was large and came with what it was described to have. The bed was comfortable and appeared to be in good condition. The desk chair had torn upholstery and there were no linens for the pull-out couch, which is one of the reasons I picked this room. The bathroom was fine though the sink had a giant crack through it...it did not appear to leak but it will eventually. All of these concerns I could live with since I did not spend much time in the room. The following I could not. The room was reserved for 2 people, but the bathroom was only set up for 1. The front desk did not have any towels available...I had to have one brought to my room. (They did bring a bath mat that I did not have but had to forgot to ask about...guess they knew already that it wasn't there.) I checked in on Thursday, and it wasn't until Saturday evening that the room was cleaned. Items that had been used like the in room coffee, cups etc. were not replaced or refreshed. When I checked out Sunday morning I went into "Continental Breakfast" room for some coffee, and noticed that the food items did not look fresh and quantities were low, not due to it being busy but that this location doesn't put forth the effort to make it pleasing to the guests. Also, the hotel section where I stayed was non-smoking, but the hallway smelled of smoke. This location needs hospitality 101 training soon.

A Pleasent surprise!

I admit I was a little nervous with the past reviws I had read about this location. It was the nearest hotel to the location.But on arrival all fears were but aside with the friendly clerks' welcome and the quiet room to rest our heads for the night. The room was clean with what looked like a new bathroom and new beds; as we saw them removing the old ones. They had a small breakfast which was enough to get you moving and a computer in the lobby to check email. The computer was a little slow but was worth not luging my laptop from home.I will definately book here for the next get together in the fall.
