Very poor maintenance

I arrived with my family and the rooms we booked were horrible. I requested to leave that's when they upgraded my rooms to what they had the best. The royal suites. Big rooms but still needing a serious maintenance work. The restaurant is poorly furnished and provide poor choices of meals

needs work

Hotel is in need of renovations. Deluxe room I am staying in is dated and in need of fixing up. The service has been good so far but some in room amenities listed on hotels.com site are not available here right now. Many things on request or not available. The beach is not very good as it is very water sports centric so no swimming.

Disappointing

Blocked toilet on 3 occasions, dark dingy room, with little lighting horrible black cracked bath tub. Staff were rude had very limited English and breakfast was disappointing.

Room is beat up. Tub and shower unacceptable. We have to ask for towel replacements. Safe did not worked. In short, the hotel has seen better days and on its last legs. For $135+ a night is not worth it even if it gives you a second night free. The rate of the hotel is very tricky. It says at hotels.com that you earn free nights and when you are all agog about it and all set up, you realized for a 4nights stay you only earn 2 rewards nights. Be careful of the fine prints.

TRAVELLED ALONE, SPENT TWO NIGHTS, VISITED TURTLE ISLAND, WALKED EVERYWHERE I WANTED TO GO, SAW WHAT I WANTED TO SEE, STALL WERE EXCEPTIONALLY FRIENDLY, GROUND FLOOR ROOM, WALKED OUT ONTO POOL AREA OR OUT MAIN DOOR AND ACROSS ROAD TO SMALL GROGERY STORE. MEALS, POOLSIDE, IN ROOM & IN RESTAURANT WERE BEAUTIFUL & TO ORDER. WELCOMING COLD DRINK ON ARRIVAL - JUST GREAT. ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THE DARNESS OF THE WOOD INSIDE THE ROOM, MADE IT FEEL CLOSED IN. I WOULD GO THERE AGAIN WITHOUT HESITATION!

Reasonably priced hotel ,not for little children

Very nice hotel. Not good for little children as there is no toddlers pool but a huge 70m lap pool . Breakfast was very nice . Beach chairs good .

Great 5 night stay

The staff at the hotel are fantastic, always helpful and friendly. The pool area is beautiful to relax next to, with the beach just at the end of the property. The breakfast had a good selection. Cocktails were delicious and happy hour runs twice a day. Overall an excellent stay.

OK for the Price!

Rooms good value for the price. The Bintang prices are ridiculous for a 3 star hotel( more than double the price we paid in a 4 1.2 star place in Seminyak! I would advise guests to walk past Aston Bali to the Peninsular where the food and drink prices are great .. We were worried about the pool water which was cloudy and the use of a portable filter did not seem to do the job.

Middle range hotel

The hotel was ok. The service is the restaurant was very slow and not very efficient. Personally I would have preferred to have stayed in Nusa Dua. This hotel is 10 minutes out of Nusa Dua so to get anywhere you have to catch a cab. The metered cabs are quite cheap but the traffic isn't great so you will spend a lot of time in traffic. Overall you get what you pay for, it was reasonable money for value

We chose Oasis to host our wedding guests, and the service the provide was very excellent! Very much cooperative and accomodating, staffs are friendly and very helpful. Location is quite centric, hotel itself is nice. Highly recommended!

could have done better for the money

service was almost non existent, one had to repeatedly ask for face towels or for tea and coffee to be provided and there appeared to be a hotel shortage of closet hangers despite requesting them.there was no staff pool service for 12 of the 14 days we stayed.beach chairs around pool and on sand were never prepared like all other adjacent hotels and you had to find the towels as no one was in attendance.the one time we requested an early morning wake up call for a tour pickup it did not happen only a lame apology was offered. similarly scheduled shuttle services did not happen.airport pickup and return was at our expense and not provided, very disappointing given that there appeared to be lots of staff but seemed badly or incompetently managed.on a personal level the staff were always courteous and friendly. overall the lack of amenities ie no tour adviser on premises, and lack of wifi in rooms and poor overall service gave a lack lustre impression of a hotel in decline. it looked great online and on the upside breakfast was good and its location on the beach with direct access from the beautiful pool was great, but more a 2 star experience rather than a 4 star.there appeared to be a lack of creative management to enthuse guests to stay for dinner and was as a result constantly empty or with only one table of diners and certainly not encouraging for a nite in. the 2day cafe across the road and the sari restarunt provided good clean meals and service as an alternative.

Cool, comfortable, modern elegance.

The Oasis is a great overall value in Bali. The design of the building and grounds is quite stunning and unusual. The centerpiece is the spacious pool lined with palm trees, which carries the eye toward the beach and ocean and a perfect color match to the ocean water. The whole swimming and dining area is amazingly comfortable, even in the heat of the day - because of the flow-through design of the building, there is a pleasant breeze at all times. The hotel staff is superb in every way, making you feel at home away from home. This is not a fancy place, but very elegant in its uncluttered decor - enhanced by fine furniture pieces and nice paintings in the lobby. The food served here is good and reasonably priced, but there are so many good restaurants within a short walk that many guests choose to eat elsewhere. One of the best restaurants in Bali, is located right next door to the Oasis. My only criticism would be the very high price of drinks here, making a choice of other watering holes almost obligatory. Fortunately, there are nearby options for entertainment and many others a short taxi ride away. I would definitely stay at the Oasis again, next time I visit Bali.

The Oasis Nusa Dua

Hotel was welcoming,staff friendly, clean and room comfortable, maybe updating of TVs/towels, cracks in walls filled/ woodwork repainted would freshen up rooms heaps. Breakfast was great, evening menu adequate and room service good. For a 3 star and the price of accommodation I think they did very well and I would stay there again.

Beautiful hotel, but next to an empty lot that is a trash pile, like a lot of places in Bali. Booked it for the wifi access so I could lounge by the pool while blogging, etc., but the wifi was down until the last few hours of my stay which was really inconvenient. Mostly couples and families who tend to keep to themselves. Not much for mingling, especially as a solo traveler.

Friendly staff close to the beach

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful but the room was small and basic. The pool was nice but I found it too shaded and felt like the kids could not have fun because the sound echoed and I didn't want to disturb the other guests which seemed to be older or couples (not families). We spent much of our time outside of the hotel as we found the prices and choice of food better elsewhere. The location was great but I would try another hotel next time.

Excellent Stay

Oasis Benoa is an amazing hotel to stay. Its location is very convenient. There is a mini market outside the hotel that sells almost everything you need. Lots of restaurants right across the hotel. Most of them have a free wi-fi access which comes handy most of the time. The beach is right at the back of the hotel. Food is reasonably good. Highly recommended!! Suggestion: Don't book the hotel directly. Use hotel.com for a cheaper deal.

Oasis Beach Nusa Dua

We would like to thank the staff at The Oasis for providing us with a very enjoyable and relaxing stay .It has been 8 years since our last stay in Bali and it was great too see that the hospitalitiy and kindness of the people has not changed.We had read other reviews before we chose the Oasis and were keen to find out ourselves.1 - the pool is excellent,we are keen swimmers and being able too do laps before breakfast was magic. 2- the Buffet Breakfast was also excellent ..a perfect way too fuel up before a busy day.3 - the Staff..always helpful and pleasant...Thanks once again..See you again..Roger + Karen K
