Charming! This pleasant inn reminded me of something in a Miss Marple novel. My room was clean and well-furnished. Staff was pleasant; there doesn’t seem to be often someone at the front desk, but my call to the duty phone was answered quickly. I didn’t take advantage of the free breakfast, but it looked and smelled great. My one complaint is the parking lot: the lines are so close together it was hard to park and then hard to open my car door. Overall: a lovely place and I'd stay there again.

It was a mix. The daily cleaning was very well done. The longer term maintenance was not as good. Some of the plugs worked, others did not. The windows were dirty and two were broken. The upholstered furniture and the wooden furniture was scratched up. The continental breakfast was OK. The room was very quiet and the bed was comfortable

Easy check-in. The clerk was cordial and efficient. The king size bed in our room was not hotel standard and too firm. The sheets were very thin and seemed worn. The place was very clean Only a continental breakfast was offered.

good and bad

Unfortunately the day I arrived there was a problem with the water pipes. The hotel made every effort to fix things but for the 5 days I was there I had no shower or hot water or operational toilet. I used the manager bathroom on the first floor. I wish someone had given me better instructions on how to use the gallons of water that were provided. Being a city girl I thought they were for drinking but it turns out that was not completely correct. Breakfast was very very yummy and I commend the staff for getting through a VERY difficult time.

Best place to stay for a Stowe Ski Trip

Charming and comfortable Inn in VT. The staff were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was over the top excellent.
