Every one loved the location. Kids enjoyed the creek behind the house. The 3 decks have great views of muscatatuck river. We had everything we needed and our host was ready and willing to get us any additional items needed.A great family trip!

Our family stay here was excellent! Comfortable & beautiful location and we all felt at-home. Attention to detail was exceptional from host and very much appreciated! Comfortable beds & living room seating and fully functional kitchen made our stay super easy for staying in the whole weekend. Beautiful & relaxing outdoor spaces were icing on the top!

The hosts were fantastic and very easy to communicate with. The house was above adequate and had plenty of room for the 6 of us. Beautiful location.

I was drawn to this property for the close proximity to the river. It did not disappoint! The leaves were beautiful & the sound of the river was so soothing & relaxing. I spent quite a bit of time on the deck taking in the magnificence of the area. We also loved how close we were to North Vernon so could easily run into town for food!

Great place to stay beautiful property by the river

We had a great time . The cabin was very nice and clean and Tom was in contact incase we needed anything . We traveled around the area and out further on our motorcycles , great roads and small town places to eat .

Rustic Cabin with a good view and great homey feel

Our team had an amazing stay at this cabin while in town for work. It was spacious, spotless, and filled with thoughtful details that made it feel like home. After long days, we loved unwinding on the decks and cooling off in the river. The peaceful setting was just what we needed to recharge each evening. A perfect mix of comfort and charm — highly recommend!

A wonderful home

Tom's house was perfect for our family of seven. Our kids enjoyed playing in the Muscatatuck river behind the house and we thoroughly enjoyed the sights and sounds of the forest around us. The house was very well equipped for all of our needs. Of all the rental properties we've stayed at, this was our favorite so far.

This was so much better than staying in a motel. The house was clean and equipped with everything needed. Sitting on the deck and hearing nothing but the flow of the river below was very relaxing. This exceeded my expectations. Thank you very much.

Amazing house on river

My friends and I rented this house for a weekend reunion trip and amazed at the setting of the house on the river and all the amenities. The decks overlooking the river are very nice and tranquil. We will be renting this place in future visits to North Vernon and area.

Quiet Restful Hideaway

Our stay was awesome! It was so nice, quiet, and restful even though we were there for only a short time. The boys loved playing in the water and riding in the kayak. It was great to just unplug and enjoy nature. Thanks so much! We will definitely recommend this place to others.

3 of my friends and I came up to go deer hunting. The house is just as described. Tom was a great host and helped us with everything we needed. We hope to come back.

Amazing Property

It is a beautiful location, and the house was great. My sister, niece and I were there visiting family in Seymour, so this location was great. We really enjoyed the decks, and just being able to unwind. Tom was wonderful, he was good about staying in touch, and even left a bottle of wine, flowers and fruit for us when we arrived. We were not lacking for anything. I am already planning another trip to IN, and hoping this property is available when we come back up!

Amazing

This was the absolute perfect spot to get away. The views of the river and being on a quiet dirt road out in the country. Definitely felt like a home away from home. The kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner at night! Can’t wait to be back there again!

Great Hidden Gem!

We've booked this place two years in a row and really love it. It's close to the location we were working from and has all the amenities we were looking for. The host is fantastic and even left us some fresh flowers, fruit, snacks and a bottle of wine. The massage chair saved my back as well! So relaxing! The property is very cool with a stream out back that you see from the deck. We would definelity book this place again. Highly recommended!

Beautiful view overlooking Muscatatuck River. Very close to North Vernon for good food if that's your plan. I can recommend Nash's for great food and experience. The place was very clean, and it does come with a gas grill, but only two burners would work. Good enough for our one meal in though. Had to reset the internet router and that seemed to fix most of our connectivity issues. I would definitely come back here!

Cabin in the woods

Host communicated well. We had 8 people & there was plenty of room. Decks are nice & relaxing. A River/creek runs by it & grandkids had fun playing near by. We visited Cliffy Falls State Park about 30 minutes away.

Home in North Vernon, Indiana

This home in North Vernon was such a pleasant place to stay. The host was attentive and responsive. The home was very clean and the host thought of everything. The host provided fruit, essentials in case you forgot anything such as toothbrushes, deodorant and plenty of activities such as a kayak. We all especially enjoyed the massage chair. If we return to Indiana we will want to stay here again. Accommodations were so much better than staying at the only hotel in town. Thank you, Tom for your hospitality.

Lovely Stay, highly recommend

The cabin was private and spacious, but still cozy. The beds were comfortable, the view was beautiful, the massage chair was a perk, and the kids loved swimming and kayaking in the river. There were homemade cookies for us on arrival and any questions answered through text. Everything we could think of or need, the house had it! Basic toiletries and beyond were available in each bathroom. Things to note: there is not a great place to do a fire pit or bonfire, but we did use a small charcoal grill for some dinner.
