Upon checkin, the lovely lady at the front desk was so helpful and immediately put me at ease. Everyone we spoke with at the front desk was kind and helpful, so that absolutely stood out to us as a positive. The room was as we'd hoped it would be, so that was great. One of the main elevators was out of commission so the wait for an elevator was persistently quite a while longer than usual. The cleanliness/presentation of the hotel was not great, but good enough. Not a very well kept hotel, but the service and location made up for that.

I enjoyed the size of the property and that there was two restaurants attached. The view was great as well. Getting in and out the parkkng garage was a bit scary, the breakfast was not great at all. Definitely wish it was ab actual hot breakfast but we made due.

Worth the price and the service isn't bad!

The condition of our room was only okay at best- lots of cracks and hole within the bathroom and walls; we had a toss up with room service.. the first woman we had cleaned our room immaculately! The second, cleaned our bed, yet somehow it was covered in sand head to toe before we got into it.. making it seem like sheets were recycled, the third gentleman was great! We adored out time in the pool, AND got massive Clorine headaches from swimming in it. The woman running breakfast was BY FAR our favorite part. She is personable, great at her job, and my toddler adored her. She made our morning bright and cheerful. We would definitely return just to have that experience again. The continental breakfast was also fantastic! My only complaint is needing better creamer- but that's most hotels.

Thumbs down.. but BEAUTIFUL

There was leftover Chinese food in the refrigerator, dirty sheets on the pull out bed and the ones they did bring us had cigarette burns … but the view was beautiful and there was a lot of room for our family of 5 in the suite with two rooms two bathrooms. A pull out couch with a small bathroom and a king size bed with full size bathroom.

I think the person who cleaned my room might have gotten interrupted. The bed was made with clean sheets. The toilet hadn't finished being cleaned and the floor in the bedroom had not been swept or vacuumed. Also the balcony door was unlocked.

Do Not Stay Here - there are better options!

The Sandcastle Resort was very outdated and the pictures on the website are misleading to say the least. We were charged a Resort Fee and on check out asked to be refunded since our confirmation email clearly stated that the fee is only from March 31-October and were told "We charge that to everyone and it's not our problem, it's your problem". She was beyond rude and had an attitude before we even spoke. We were there from 2/21 - 2/22. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We paid over $200 per night and are so disappointed as there are so many other hotels to choose from that had to have been better than the Sandcastle.
