The only good thing about this place is the location – right on Hastings St, which is hard to beat. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The room looked nothing like the photos online and was filthy. The floor was sticky and black, and there were items left behind from previous guests, including a bandaid and used soap. For $300 a night, I knew not to expect luxury since it’s a motel, but basic cleanliness should be a given. You’re paying for the location only – the room itself was awful.

The location is fantastic but the accommodation is nothing to write home about, very basic but was clean & tidy. The bathroom is ridiculously small and the worst design, the shower head hits the glass door every time you open and shut it. The Manager, Luis was so arrogant to deal with, his communication skills needs improving.

Very tired, small, basic room. No refrigerator as advertised. Very tight space, weird vibe about breakfast being included but they did honour the deal. Very dusty, black mold growing on doors and ceiling. Units are above the restaurant so its quite noisy. Comfortable sleep with ceiling fan and air conditioning available. Only two teaspoons available and we're never replaced each day. Good location, but not ideal for people with a physical disability or young family/gear

The bathroom is incredibly tiny in the studio rooms. While there is parking it is limited and need to book this in advance and pay extra $20/day. The room is tired and in need of a freshen up - walls marked, bathroom tiles dirty. No onsite reception and hard to find contact for property, didn’t receive text with lock box code. While a great location, I’d probably not stay again.

Be prepared to be Disappointed

Booked 3 nights, stayed for 2. Could not endure another night. Room 9 - Loft Room. Bed was an old spring mattress, so uncomfortable. Opening windows, no screens, no balcony. Pay at Property is NOT an option. Card was debited 3 weeks before arrival. Parking not made clear - MUST BOOK. Unable to make contact with the property to discuss anything prior to arrival. Had to wait for the text on the day of arrival to communicate with someone and they were so unhelpful. The only positives was the location, the shower, the heater and the pizza we had at Piccolinis. Keep looking, stay somewhere else or be prepared to be dissapointed.

2 bedroom apartment was run down and dirty. Was never told there was 2 flights of stairs to the apartment which was hard with prams and babies. Furniture was grubby and beds were old and uncomfortable. Floor was very dirty. No fly screens on windows so it's also very stuffy.

Basic motel room but in superb location with convenient cafe downstairs for excellent breakfast. Right on Main Street with easy walking to beach restaurants shops etc. perfect for one or 2 nights. Parking on site really for small cars only but easy free parking nearby.
