Headline: We will never stay at this hotel again. If you value a good night’s sleep you won’t get it here!!! We stayed at a 6th floor king sized bedroom with a Mirror Lake view right on Main Street. During our 4 night stay, not even one smile from the staff… terrible service. After every snow day, even with half an inch of snow, street cleaning started around 3AM every night. Sounded like a construction zone with heavy equipment… literally. Even thought it was a king size room I felt like I was a peasant living in a chicken coop because of the amount of times I’ve hit myself on the furniture to get to the other side of the bed. There is also very little storage if you are someone who likes to unpack like we do. It’s ridiculous that we came back tires from our vacation.

We would’ve given 5 stars but the staff didn’t seem to have a lot of personality. Even other guests there said the same thing. Check-in was at 4, our room wasn’t ready until 4:45, but they did offer us free breakfast because of it so that was nice. The room was very nice and spacious as well as clean. Nice hotel, just staff needs to lighten up and not be so serious.

Front desk staff could be more personable. I had a few eye rolls and blunt statements. I have stayed here a handful of times and not the first for this behavior. We also went to front desk for bedding for the pull out couch waa told they would have it delivered to the room and it never came. Other than that hotel is clean convenient and calet parkong was. Nice and that staff was polite.

the hotel rooms are loosing too much heat because of poor insulation. some of the windows in the corner are single glass. The excessive heating required is uncomfortable, dries out the air etc. I cannot recommend this hotel in winter

When we went to check in, we walked up to the front desk and we had booked two suites to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday. When I gave my name, the front desk agent with no emotion told me that I had been downgraded and would only have one suite and one king room. She said that They are often overbooked because of third parties. Besides that, one morning, I was woken up really early to huge banging above me on the ceiling, so I called the front desk and asked nicely what was above my room and she told me that it was the fifth floor in a sarcastic voice they also brought the wrong bedding, The concierge or valet man didn’t empty my car. He stood there and watched my kids do it after I gave him a $20 tip and there was no coffee the second morning we were there. I would never go there again.

The $24 valet parking charge is a joke. I parked my own car along with the other 10 cars in the parking lot. It was never moved or needed to be moved. I handed my keys away and got them back in the morning for $24…sad

This is an older property well maintained. You can feel the history in its building. The room I had was a double queen and had a sitting room. It's nice not to have to sit on your bed to watch tv. There was a tv in both the sitting room and the bedroom. The bathroom was very lux. High end finishes. The beds were comfortable with FULL SIZE pillows. Much appreciated. Am planning on returning soon.
