The biggest attraction of this hotel is the swimming pool, it’s amazing according to my two boys. We were on the 5th floor and the toilet in our room had not seem to be updated since the 1990’s it also did not have any soap or the necessary toiletries. The room was clean and spacious but the heating system also seemed ancient. Nevertheless we enjoyed our 2 nights stay. The complimentary 4 cans of 7up seemed to be a little miserly considering the size of the Delta groups empire 😂

Bath plug hole was rusted and had a strong metallic smell, also bathroom door had to be forced closed as it kept popping open. Bed was comfy and had a good night sleep. Pool was freezing, usually when we’ve been it has been warm. Cleaners were extremely noisy outside of room which was disruptive.

Room was ok, it was very very cold when we entered the room as the window was open. No water in the fridge, I presume non is provided anymore. Rubbish coffee facilities as you have no idea what the coffee pods are Bed was extremely uncomfy Breakfast was very poor, dirty cups on the table, food not cooked well The Marriott is not what it used to be after either being taken over by the Delta bit or it’s just been downgraded

From entering the lobby which was lovely and beautifully decorated for Xmas to the friendly efficient reception staff to my great comfy, clean and facilitous room to a very nice dinner served by really great staff to a very nice breakfast and my check out where reception staff wished me a great day..
