As it was my first time at this hotel, I was expecting to get more information from the check-in desk about my stay. There was no information given to me about accommodations like breakfast or the bar at the hotel or if there was a gym that I could use. Parking was kind of tight and I was not informed ahead of time of the price of parking only when I went to check out that I have to pull out a different car to pay for parking which was $20. The room was very cute, but there were some areas that needed to be wiped down better which I always take Clorox wipes just in case. Upon checkout, it was basically like I was interrupting the girl at the desk while she was scrolling on her phone. She barely even looked up at me when I said I was checking out and giving her my room number. Overall, I feel that the staff could have done a much better job of being more attentive to guests.

Overall the property was fine. However we were woken up one morning by the smell of weed, only to look out at one of the cleaning staff and someone else standing in hallway smoking. Then the front desk calls me and says they are receiving complaints about the smell of weed. Indirectly accusing me. The way that’s worded makes the property sounds worse than it is. The property And room itself was FINE. Worth staying in a pinch and was overall comfortable.

The property was clean. Staff were polite but not overly welcoming. Paying for parking was not great. We paid $30 extra to park for 24 hours. Bed was very comfy! This hotel served our purpose for a one-night stay. I would book again.

They should tell ppl staying at Tryp that the shuttle bus says Robert Treat Hotel, I missed the shuttle because I wasn’t aware and was waiting in the cold with my daughter at night.

This hotel has excellent location! Walkable to Penn station and the Prudential Center. The restaurant/ bar staff especially Jason was phenomenal! The hotel is very loud and noisy .. you can hear everything through the walls and outside

We stayed here in Feb and we were back again in March. Convenient safe parking, clean big gym, restaurant on site, deli next door, free shuttle to Penn Station and airport, (Yonna was the best), quick responses to any reasonable requests.

Terrible!!!

I only stayed here 1 night and I barely slept. The people next door were super loud, banging on walls and just plain disrespectful. I kept on calling the front desk at 1 in the morning and they kept on hanging the phone up. I went down stairs and had to give them a piece of my mind. I payed a lot of money for that room and i needed peace. This is a hotel not a hood motel.
