Great place to stay!

Location: Located between NBC studios and Central Park. Great location!
Enjoyed everything about the hotel. No complaints. Location is great, centrally located.

Old renovated hotel

Pros: location
Cons: Price to value
Room strong smell like moth balls Paint cracking and falling from ceiling Dripping of water onto window all night like water torture

Elegant hotel

The Warwick is an elegant hotel, centrally located. The room was large, quiet, very comfortable & impeccably clean. Staff was pleasant & helpful. Highly recommend.

deeply disappointed.

While the hotel was nice and even charming itself, I was put into an "upgrade" room. yes, it was a suite and large, but they moved me to a low, inside 4th floor room. I had zero view ...okay of the other building 6 feet away....but I paid a lot extra for a city view. I had zero natural light, it was like a cave. there was zero cell or text signal...which I rely on constantly through the day, so I had to pay for WiFi every day. If this is the upgrade, please don't give it to me. The hotel is perfectly located for my regular NYC business trips, but I was disappointed in my stay and don't plan on returning here again. I plan to ask to be refunded the extra $$ that I paid for the "city view" (that I never had) and for all the Internet fees.

The hotel was wonderful. My only issue was the breakfast restaurant. They added 15% to each check which I feel is inappropriate. While I normally tip around 20%, it does require good service. Our service in the restaurant was adequate at best but I still had to pay a 15% tip. That is not right. You are requiring people to tip, regardless of the service they receive. I can understand if there is a large party as many establishments put on a service charge for large groups. In this case it was just my wife and I. We spent a lot of money at this hotel this week and that little issue put a bad mark on what was otherwise a great trip.
