Nice hotel

Pros: Hotel was very nice, staff extremely accommodating. Room was clean and quiet
Cons: Carpet wasn't vacuumed but otherwise very nice. Surprised none of the coffee shops were open Sunday morning - Chinatown nearby was like a ghost town.
I booked this hotel thinking it was one I had stayed at before so the location was a bit off for us but it worked out. Great, clean hotel with a wonderful staff.

Close to city entrance, easy to drive to and then leave. Cheap and good breakfast options at deli next door to hotel. Staff was wonderful and very friendly, Starbucks inside hotel, never got time to use. Dunkin Donuts close. Plenty of food options close by, pharmacy around the corner in case something left at home; however, hotel has emergency personal bathroom supplies, just not makeup remover. Would stay here again!

Excellent NYC hotel

Pros: This hotel is relatively new.
This is a wonderful hotel walking distance from excellent restaurants in the Tribeca, SOHO, Chinatown, Little Italy areas plus great shopping ! Rooms are small but well equipped ; modern bathrooms and wifi is free. There's a Starbucks coffee in the lobby, great for a quick morning breakfast.

Clean, Good Accomodations, EXCELLENT Staff

Pros: Staff being very accommodating, cleanliness, general welcoming atmosphere.
Location: Pepolinos was EXCELLENT. Great authentic Italian food, no chicken parm here!
I have to start out talking about Rhondalisa. She was the best concierge I could have asked for. She was so accommodating, made great suggestions for things to do, places to eat, etc. She even gave us access to the upstairs VIP lounge at no cost. She was friendly, and wonderful to work with. All of the other staff i encountered were wonderful, but she just stood out in my mind. When I booked this trip I got the non-refundable discounted rate. The last night of our stay my husband was mandated to come in to work. I called travelocity who was very helpful, but it was in the end up to the hotel whether we could get a refund. The hotel was great and refunded the rate on the spot. I was so grateful that I didn't have to pay for a night I would not use. I have stayed at several hotels in Manhattan and my husband and I decided this is the one we will return to on our next trip.

New York

Pros: Staff. Rooms large and clean.
We were staying in New York looking at NYU. We stayed at the Fairfield Marriot on our first night. Was not the best place to stay. Then we went to Sheridan Tribeca. What a great experience and a great staff. Rooms were clean and large. Great location to visit NYU and the surrounding areas. We are from New Orleans and are spoiled by the hospitality here. The staff at Tribeca was wonderful. If my daughter gets into NYU I will be spending time at your hotel.

Noisy place

Primarily disappointed because of noise on my floor on a Saturday night. Slamming doors and people yelling. To the hotels credit they finally got these people to quiet down after I had to be forceful with the front desk, but this went on past 1 in the morning. I do not think saving $50 a night is worth the aggravation and loss of sleep.

Good location and reasonable price

I was in town for the night and the hotel was reasonably priced and in the general vicinity of where I wanted to be. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. The room was small but it was clean and well maintained. There was an air of luxury about it even though it was much less expensive than others in the area. The staff was helpful and the lobby well apportioned. I would highly recommend it and stay there again.

Great location for downtown attractions

Pros: Location, staff
Cons: Better cheescake on the room service menu
Location: Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Wall street, Broadway, shopping
While we only stayed at the Sheraton Tribeca for a night, we really enjoyed our stay. The taxi/cab drive from the airport seemed to take longer than a trip to midtown/east due to the nature of downtown. Check-in was both quick and friendly. The elevators were located is an awkward tiny corner of the ground floor, and it was impossible for two guests with suitcases to pass each other. The hotel was in a great location for the downtown attractions. While the hotel does seem to be located in an unfriendly neighborhood, it’s only a short 3 block walk to Broadway with lots of shopping nightlife. The queen bed size room was a little smaller than usual, and equipped with two phones (one was cordless which is pointless given the size of the room). More importantly, the room was clean and modern. I would recommend this hotel to friends. Catch a taxi/cab to the airport, and do not accept a black hire car (offer by staff) to the airport as they avoid the tolls, fall asleep at the wheel, and take the long way.
