I stayed here with my family for Tulane graduation, and overall we had a very good stay. Pros: very responsive host; comfortable apartment; convenient parking spot; excellent location; strong A-C; good amenities including shampoo, conditioner, soap in every shower and soap at every sink; great towels; good mattress; reasonably clean apartment; nice building. Cons: not immaculate - there are nooks and crannies in the apartment that look like they have not been cleaned in a long time, and the living rug needed a better vacuum job; Wi-Fi was decent but went in and out; no hanging space in the en-suite bedroom; two of the bedrooms are interior (no windows, which is concerning if there is a fire); noise. Our main issue was that the bedrooms facing the street have a lot of street noise. Traffic, people's voices, and the usual - but the worst was the trash pick up at 6 am. It sounded like someone dropped a metal dumpster full of glass from the roof of the building onto the street about 10 times in a row each morning. We have stayed on this street before at a hotel two blocks away and did not have this noise, so while I understand this is a busy area, be aware that the windows do not insulate these two bedrooms from noise. So depending on your sleep habits this apartment could be a perfect place to stay or it could be disappointing. If you don't mind the noise and want to be within walking distance of most of NOLA's main attractions, this apartment is a great choice.
