This property doesn’t care about their guests
I want to start off by saying, I don’t leave poor reviews and I am sad to do so.
That said, I love these types of rentals over hotels because it’s supposed to feel like a home. This was not the case here. I think the theme of this rental was “what’s the minimum I could get away with to rent to people and make the most money?” These hosts clearly do not care about their guests. This host:
- Never sent me the entry code. I had to call around 9pm on arrival
- Only two rolls of toilet paper for six people over six days (and then told us to buy more)
- SMALLEST bath towels. They were basically hand towels.
- Towels were all thin, falling apart, and bleach stained. They have received feedback on these towels on their listing in another site, responded saying they would fix the issue, and still have not fixed the issue.
- The units power went down and no one communicated with us. It was 100° outside and we were worried about the AC.
- there are no fitted sheets on the beds —just small top sheet that falls off throughout the night
- The sheets and mattress stained
- The pillows are not suitable—old and very thin.
- No extra sheets are provided
- communication with this host was impossible.
- no pots or pans or anything to use the stove
- The water and ice in the fridge are not connected/working and you can’t drink the tap water.
- Someone had clearly puked (!!!!) on the mattress cover/protector. It was brown and stained. And clearly not cleaned.
