This was a perfect place to stay. Walking distance to al. Major tourist destinations. Close to the street cars and busses. The staff were great, room comfy and a/c worked well. The breakfast was ok but did not take away from the experience. Will definitely stay there again.

Mixed Experience – Depends on the Room You Get I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus St. Christopher Hotel in New Orleans while attending a work conference, and unfortunately, my experience was quite mixed. We had originally booked one of the interior rooms with a jacuzzi bath (the ones without windows), and I would strongly advise against booking these. The room felt grungy and stuffy, and we encountered multiple maintenance issues right from the start — the jacuzzi bath didn’t work, the tub wouldn’t drain, the fridge was leaking, and the work desk was nearly falling apart. On top of that, the TV didn’t work and was stuck in French with no way to change the language or reset it. We reported everything to the front desk, but the staff member on duty seemed dismissive and uninterested. She said she’d pass the issues along to maintenance, but when we returned later that evening, nothing had been addressed. When we followed up again, she appeared to have no memory of our prior conversation. On a third attempt, a different staff member was at the desk and the manager happened to overhear the conversation — he thankfully stepped in and moved us to a different room. The new room was a corner suite with windows, and it was a huge improvement — far more inviting, comfortable, and clean. However, there were still a few drawbacks. The windows seemed to be single-glazed or very thin, which meant a lot of outside noise carried in. Being just off Canal Street, we were kept up lat

The property was decent here was spatter on the back of the bathroom door and the coffee maker wasnt checked from the previous guest. The hallway was very cold and breakfast could have been better on friday morning Saturday morning was better

I didn’t like that I asked for towels and washcloths two days in a row. Staff at the desk said they would bring some and no one showed up. 3am in the morning I was awoken to load ringing noise in my room. I call down to the front desk to make staff aware of the situation. The staff told me there was nothing that they could do about the noise. Leaving me to deal with the noise situation on my own. I asked the staff to come to my room to help me and I was told they could not leave the front desk. I was frustrated by the answer.
