Awesome location. Just 1/2 block off of Canal Street and near the Waterfront Park. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, with suggestions on where to eat. The hot water was out when we arrived but was repaired the next day. The front desk staff were able to provide real updates on the hot water situation. Breakfast was great and Breakfast Staff were friendly and engaging with the guests. Even with the minor inconvenience of no hot water for about 24 hours of our stay it was an excellent experience. Would definitely stay there again.

I liked that there were several areas of interest that I could walk to. Cons - In our room the door had a large gap that we had to stuff with towels in order to keep the hall light from coming in. Also, there was no ice on every floor and the parking was blocks away.

The girls who checked me in and out were really nice and helped me get around the city. The only thing I didn't like was the confusion about parking.

Parking is more expensive than what is mentioned on Expedia it was $45-$65 a day. It was also a block and a half away which I did not feel safe walking after dark. Nor in the rain. There is no one at the front desk. The front door is not locked at night. Anyone can walk in. No security.. the room was clean however the breakfast was less than mediocre.

I had a bottle of alcohol to give my dauther since it was her birthday trip. When I went to my bag to get it, it hasld misteriously dissapeared. I've stayed at this hotel before and did not expect this. Very disappointed and will not be returning.

On our second day, we had gone out to dinner and just ordered her food. We’ve got a very inconvenient call from the hotel stating that we needed to move our vehicle so that they can power wash the parking lot. They already told us where we’re supposed to go, but the less inconvenient part was having to rush through our meal and get to the car before 5 o’clock. Meanwhile, it was 4:15 when we receive the phone call.

Not as was advertised. Ask for a room for a disabled person. They gave a room with a large wood pillar right in the middle of the room. Very inconvenient for me with my wheelchair. Was hard for me to go to the restroom. Room size was smaller than the description!

Old and Damp

The cleanliness of the hotel was good. It was the smell of the place that was awful. It smelled old and damp, it seemed like mold was behind every wall in my room. The bed could have been a block of concrete with a mattress topper on it. The aesthetics of the room was very nice, but the smell was very hard to ignore. Also, if you like quiet, this hotel is not for you, but my room was by the street.
