The room was clean and in good condition. The breakfast was good, with a lot of options. But there was constant noise. Bar noise and chatter carries in the atrium. The walls between rooms aren't thick enough. And the smoke detectors constantly flash bright green lights in the dark rooms. So while the bed was comfortable, I couldn't sleep well. Also, the bathroom light was on a motion sensor, so if you have to get up at 3:00 AM, you'll be blinded and fully awake after. I wouldn't stay here again.

Overall, the hotel was nice and clean. Staff was very kind and helpful. I loved the fact that they even offered dinner and drinks - even though we didn’t get to experience that, we will definitely be picking this place to stay again just to experience that. The only reason I didn’t give a full five stars was because a daily parking fee was charged in addition to room rate I already paid. I don’t believe this was disclosed when booking. Also, there was no parking we had to go to overflow which was only $5 for a daily rate while the hotel charged us $14.

Our room was amazingly beautiful. Love the sliding doors for the bathroom & bedroom instead of doors that open in or out. Hotel was very secure! Most of the staff was great, only a couple in the food area that weren't pleasant. Lots of extras including free breakfast & a free "happy hour" meal type thing!

I love this Drury Inn. Staff is wonderful, the place has a fun vibe, there are always kids going back and forth to the pool, rooms are big. Also, BEST PARKING in downtown st.paul. I love the Celeste and St. Paul hotel, but their parking situations are not as good as the Drury :) If you need to be in and out all day, this is where Drury is the best in St.Paul.
