Big room, comfy bed, needs work

We needed a place to stay for a lacrosse tournament and I waited too long, most were either full or way overpriced. I paid a fair rate here, and honestly the staff was nice when I spoke to them, and my room was really big and clean. Bed was newer and comfortable, building is definitely old, bathroom sink/tub are well past in need of replacement and someone in the past took some aggression out on the wall. The hotel was close to UD campus which was nice, hard to get into with the road construction but that’s not their fault. If you’ve stayed at cheaper places before, you know what you’re getting. People definitely live here…but I had a comfy, clean bed for a good price. It did the job.

Couldn't get a plunger

We checked in to the hotel around 9pm on a Saturday. There was excrement in the toilet upon arrival. When I called the front desk I was told this facility didn't have room service. Terribly disappointed that nothing was done about the stopped up toilet!!!

TV wouldn't work. Guys came after about a half-hour and replaced the box. TV came on, channel wouldn't change and then disconnected completely. Beds roll all over the floor. Only working ice machine was on opposite side of facility, only accessible by wapkong outside around the building

This was my first time booking a hotel and it was a terrible one. The advertisement on the internet is all false. I had to buy disinfectant supplies to try and make it through my stay not only did I get hurt with the screws in the cabinet but also with the one in the bathroom and there was nothing that can get rid of the smell of pee and cigarettes. I even bought blankets and pillowcases. Horrible. There is more pics but unable to upload all

I had 3 rooms and they all was bad, the smell in and outside the room was horrible (urine-cigarettes, and dirty) attach are pictures to one of the rooms. I had to go out and purchase disinfectant supplies to clean room and make it somewhat livable, and had to buy blankets, pillow case and left them behind.

Some things good, some lacking

Overall the property was on the shabby side. Dated carpets in the halls smelled of age that the humidity was making worse. Chips and scratches in the bathroom had been painted over, including the chrome of the drain. Toilet seat missing wing nut on one side. On the good side, the room was clean, which some other reviews had really hammered them on. No bugs, clean linens, no mold. So not a disaster, but not a place I would want to stay for more than the one night I was there

The staff was kind & helpful. Unfortunately the property is old & run down. Staff did their best to clean but the freshener was overpowering. Bedding had cigarette burns. Bathroom was clean but the tub drained slowly leaving you standing in dirty water while showering. Shower & sink fixtures barely functioned & were old & decrepit. Towel rack was barely held into the wall on one side. Laminate floors in the room were the best feature.

The pictures on the Expedia app was really nice but when you get there it's a different story.The hotel is run down.I would like to say when we checked in,the guy did give me a ground floor room cause i was injured with my foot and leg,so thank you for that,very much.Hotel itself needs alot of work,smells,my room was dirty when we walked in,,especially the bathroom,etc.My advice do not stay here at all.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. The room was dirty and smelled like a mix of cigarette smoke and harsh cleaning chemicals, which was nauseating. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting—clearly not cleaned properly and just overall unhygienic. The entire experience was uncomfortable and unpleasant. I would strongly advise avoiding this location. Spend your money elsewhere.

Check all beds before you stay they have bed bugs

I stayed here and my 2nd day i told the front deck I was breaking out they chsnged the sheets and they was still dirty with cigarettes burnt holds from Cigarettes and the sheets was dirty the tub was dirty with a ring around it and i went out to but cleaning supplies and cleaned the room because it was Smelling and the mattress had a big blood stain and i jad to clean it with alcohol bleach and orher cleaning stuff then my children said they was getting bite as well and ince i brought it to the front deck they denied me services becsuse they had bed bugs and was very dirty i watched them take the sheets off the bed and put them back on the self so they was dirty and oncd i brought it to there attention they denied me services because they had bed bugs and was very dirty

The service was really good, however, the rooms were very smelly, not cleaned, sticky floors and tables, roaches in bathroom, cigarettes burns in sheets. Would not recommend.
