We booked this for our anniversary/St. Patty's day celebration. This being probably our 15th trip to New Buffalo, we have rented maybe 10 different homes in the area. This "cozy cottage" is now a new favorite! Perfectly located within blocks of the downtown, it is just loaded with charm, and the owners have utilized every inch of it to create that. The vaulted ceiling and loft area create a really cool vibe, while keeping the charm of an older home. The master BR is surprisingly large, and the other two Brs. are a nice size. Again, in the 3rd BR they have laid it out to use the space really well. We don't have kids, but the loft and the furnished basement are great places for kids to explore and hang out. This house is super clean and fresh and the kitchen is charming and well appointed. It was snowing out, so we couldn't use the yard, but both it, and the home, offer an unexpected level of privacy, in a lake area setting. The owners, Austin and Leslie, were very easy to communicate with, and very helpful when we had a slight issue of our own making. I gladly give this home and it's owners five stars. Rent this one with confidence.
