El aterrizaje en Lower Long Lake

La cabaña se encuentra en Lower Long Lake, cerca de la ciudad de New Auburn, WI, a solo 45 minutos al norte de Eau Claire, WI y a 2 horas de las Ciudades Gemelas. El lago es completamente recreativo con 1100 acres para disfrutar de la natación, el esquí, las motos de nieve y una buena pesca desde nuestro muelle. La cabina tiene una cocina completa, tres dormitorios completos, 2 baños y una terraza acristalada de cuatro estaciones. Reserve sus vacaciones de verano, viaje de pesca, escapada en moto de nieve o fin de semana de chicas en este refugio al norte. Los alquileres de pontones están disponibles en el lago por $ 175 / día.

El espacio

Además de la hermosa cabaña y el lago recreativo, la cercana ciudad de Chetek ofrece muchas actividades divertidas para familias, parejas e individuos. Pesque, practique kayak y hágase fuego en la hoguera, ase perros calientes y haga s'mores, siéntese en el muelle y disfrute de una copa de vino y vea la puesta de sol sobre el lago. A continuación se presentan algunas de las reglas de la casa para su estadía.
1) No hay fiestas ruidosas y mantén la música a un nivel respetuoso.
2) Hay dos muelles de acceso público donde puedes poner un bote. Kayak con chalecos salvavidas están disponibles para uso de los huéspedes. ¡Por favor usa tu chaleco salvavidas!
3) Por favor guarde el nenúfar todas las noches.

5) No ajuste el aire acondicionado o el calor por debajo / por encima de 72.
6) No Fumar.
7) Trae tu propia leña. Las estaciones de servicio en el área generalmente tienen paquetes de madera a la venta. Sin embargo, siéntase libre de usar las ramas caídas en la propiedad para un incendio.
8) Si va a navegar en bote para pescar, esquiar en el agua, etc., obtenga una copia de un mapa del lago para evitar aguas poco profundas inesperadas o áreas rocosas.
9) No hay fuegos artificiales!

~ Un libro de visitas con las reglas de la casa estará disponible en la cabina con más detalles sobre la propiedad, así como los procedimientos de salida.
Muelle de pesca, kayak para adultos, pozo de fuego con sillas, balsa de agua en el lago. También tenemos una parrilla de gas y utensilios para asar para su uso. Si se queda sin propano, está disponible en Corner Store (BP en la autopista 40 y M); sin embargo, siempre trataremos de tener un tanque extra.

Hay un muelle y un lugar para estacionar su bote, el agua es limpia y excelente para nadar. ¡Salta del muelle y disfruta del agua!

Enjoyed our stay at The Landing

Cabin was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed for our extended family to have a great stay on a gorgeous lake. Especially enjoyed using the lilly pad as well as the dock for our pontoon. We hope to come back next year! y pad

Great Family Getaway

Our family really enjoyed our time at this lakefront cabin. The kitchen was well stocked for all our cooking needs with all sizes of cookware and pans, and there was a good assortment of condiments and spices available for our use as well. Was great having 2 bathrooms with showers, and the one being a combo shower/bathtub was perfect for bathing the infant in our group. It was fine for us since we are all family, but note you do need to access both bathrooms through a bedroom. It was nice having such close access to the lake. We caught some bass, crappie and sunnies, and the water was clean and perfect for a little swimming and water skiing. Make sure to follow the owner's advice about getting a map of the lake so you know where the low spots and rocks are. Good WiFi signal and plenty of room in the cabin and grounds to spread out. Nice that the boat launch is right next to the property, which I thought might get noisy with traffic, but is a small launch with only 1 spot for parking so hardly saw anyone else. Quiet and relaxing - highly recommend!

As advertised

Plenty of room for extended family of 8. Everyone had their own beds & 2 baths a must! Beautiful setting, water activities enhanced with kayaks, paddle boat, lily pad and rented pontoon boat. 2 docks, fire pit, grill, porch, etc. Note: we picked up several gallons of drinking and cooking water as the well water seemed a bit tinted. No big deal. Also, the lake is fairly sizable, not just a big pond. Plenty to explore from the pontoon.

Fall getaway

Our family had a wonderful time! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boat. It was wonderful being able to bring our two dogs along, too. You’d never know this was a dog friendly cabin. There was no evidence that other pets had stayed there. We will be back!

Summer 2022

Property was very nice. We loved the docks and the boat landing. Communication with Travis was great. We liked that there was WiFi and a smart TV. Fishing was great on that part of the lake. We also boated to Max's for supper one night.

Luxury north woods fishing

Second time we stayed at this property and it was as good as the first time. Modern interior, clean, and very well insulated for temps and noise. Travis communicates very well. Property has a pier and a boat launch is adjacent to it. Great location for a few guys to get away to fish.

Another great stay at Long Lake

This was our second trip here and we were not disappointed. It was clean, cozy, peaceful and a location that can't be beat The lake is beautiful and the renovated cabin was perfect. Thank you Travis. We will be back.

Perfect getaway

One of my families favorite spots

This was our second time at the Landing, and we had an amazing time. The cabin is super clean, has a great layout, and is perfect for our family of 5 and dog. Sadly, this was the only week of the whole summer (2021) where it rained almost every day, but that didn’t stop the fun! We can’t wait to come back again next year!

The cabin was very nice. Well furnished and comfortable. We typically spend most of our time outside. The landscaping needs improvements. Lots of dirt areas. Outside furniture is plastic chairs. Fire pit is a truck tire rim. Public boat launch is next to cabin. Several people used dock while launching boat. Vehicles and trailers were parked next to side entrance of the cabin. I'd give the cabin four stars. The outside maybe two stars.

Great cabin in the woods.

The cabin was very nice. I am always a stickler for cleanliness over everything else and it was very clean. Beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed our stay. Travis was very helpful to us throughout the process.

Wonderful lakeside house!

A beautiful, nicely laid out house on long lake. Lots of "toys" for the water. Had wonderful campfires each evening..even enjoyed fireworks from across lake one night. Lots of fish off pier. Well stocked house. We e already booked a visit next year!

Amazing Owner and adorable cottage!

This is a truly adorable cottage with and incredible outdoor space right on the lake. It was perfect for our family of five. We absolutely loved the front porch room which has windows and screens all the way around and a great finding room table where we ate looking out on the water, played cards and games every night. Travis is the ultimate host always available to answer any question very promptly and even loaned my husband a bathing suit because in our eagerness to get on the road he forgot to pack one. The pontoon is absolutely worth it and we loved the Lily Pad, kayak, canoe and paddle boat. The lake is not super populated and we hardly saw anyone all week. It was perfect!! Highly recommend this property and we would certainly go back to any of Travis’s properties!

Highly recommend

Cabin was comfortable, clean, and exactly as described with great views of the lake. Travis was very available for questions that came up. It was great to have the pontoon, paddle boat, kayak, and lilly pad available.

Best VRBO cabin ever❤

The cabin is beautiful interior, great porch for dinning and games. The lake is clean, clear and excellent fishing, kayaking, paddle boards, canoeing, boating for all ages. Most of shore 2-5 ft deep. Has beautiful mature oaks, pines & maples for shade. 2 docks with pontoon for rent. We saw otter, loons flock of 8, family of 14 geese, 2 water snakes and caught 195 fish but less then half were big enough. Lots different spieces of fish. Was so much fun to be out in nature, beautiful weather and safe. Was nice not to wear mask for a week and enjoy life. Everyone should try this.

Perfect place!

We enjoyed our stay very much! Was perfect for our family of 6 with room for a couple more if needed. Cabin is stocked with everything. We also rented the pontoon and enjoyed the beautiful lake!

Wonderful winter weekend getaway

It was an amazing weekend! You have a great cabin in a perfect location. The guys fished and the rest of us enjoyed taking a walk in the woods. You had so many extras for us to use. There are some great cross-country skiing trails located in the county forest just east of this property. Property was very clean and the bedrooms were set up great. We really loved the 4 season room with the gas stove to keep us warm. We would highly recommend this property!Thanks for sharing this with us so we could make some great memories.
