The apartment is centrally located, yet quiet and secluded in the popular area of ​​Burriana.The apartment Lucena 19 (Casa Carmen) is a spacious, bright, and airy apartment of 70 m2 on one and the same floor divided into 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and living room.The kitchen is generously equipped with all the necessary equipment and has direct access to the living room. The apartment has one bathroom with bathtub, toilet and washing machine and one completely newly renovated bathroom with a shower and toilet. The living room is bright and fresh with two comfortable sofas and a large dining table with room for 4 people, and direct exit via sliding doors to the large terrace.The TV is equipped with Apple TV and has both Swedish and international channels as well as Netflix and HBO.The terrace is a full 50 square meters and is one of the great assets of the apartment. It faces west and has sun from lunch to sunset. There is a lovely view from the terrace over Nerja city and the surrounding mountains. There are 4 exits to the terrace, all with lockable iron gates. On the terrace there are two different groups of outdoor furniture, awnings and parasols for nice shade on sunny days and two different grills, both charcoal and gas.Diagonally above the apartment is the well-maintained swimming pool. There is a lift both adjacent to the apartment and one floor up towards the pool area, however you have to walk a few steps to reach the pool area.Calle Lucena is a one-way and extremely quiet street where you sleep well at night. There is always room for parking, no matter what time of day you arrive.Nerja is a charming city with low-rise buildings and fantastic views of mountains and sea. Here there is a so-called microclimate with approx. 320 sunny days a year thanks to the region being sheltered between two mountains. Here you can find everything from good food, culture and small hidden beaches as well as cozy mountain villages. The area offers beautiful nature where you can hike, cycle, climb, dive, etc. Nerja is also only 1.5 hours from the Sierra Nevada ski resort and one hour from the Alhambra, the most famous attraction in all of Andalucia. Just 15 minutes up in the mountains from Nerja is one of Spain’s most picturesque villages, Frigiliana.There are several nice golf courses nearby, the nearest 15 minutes away. If you are looking for an excursion to a big city, there is a lot to see and do in Malaga.DIRECTIONSDirections from Malaga airport to the apartment at the address calle Lucena 19, Nerja.1. You drive from Malaga Airport and on the highway E-15 in the direction of Almeria, Motril. Here follow the signs through the entire Malaga, you now have a 45-minute drive to Nerja2. When you see the first signs “Nerja” ait to turn off the highway until the last exit, you shall turn of at exit 929.Here, you follow the sign “Nerja”.3. You arrive in Nerja and the first roundabout in Nerja, you continue to drive straight through the roundabout. You come to a second roundabout and here you turn 330 degree around so you have mercadona close on your right side, now driving back again on the small road that goes parallell with the bigger road. 4. You will now have the Mercadona store and you turn right when you see the sign Avenida Chimenea (second street right) just after you have passed Royal Palm beach area. And then just turn next street to your right on the street Calle Lucena, you continue down the road until you come to the Adress Calle Lucena 19, here you park your car along the street.5. You go up the stairs or take the elevator up to the apartment on second floor. follow the signs to address Lucena 19.6. Go to the grille gate and unlock. Note! that there are 2 gates with the same number. The first gate says “privado”, this is not the right gate. You need to go to the 2nd gate; you pass five garage gates then you see the grille gate with double gates. You find the key to the Casa Carmen apartment (Lucena 19) in the key box. Note! The key box is marked with HF. 7. You open the key box with the four-digit code you received when you made the booking.Welcome to apartment Lucena 19!

Nerja Visit

The property is located in a convenient location for Burriana beach and a pleasant walk into the old town. On arrival I was disappointed that the bedrooms had not been made up for two guests in bedroom 2. There was also a strange mix of bed linen ( duvet covers being provided as sheets ) and also some of the towels were not very clean and we had to wash through before using. The external patio area had not been cleaned prior to our visit, The patio floor was dirty and the two patio tables were very dirty. I think that a review of the owners cleaning contract is required because it let down what is a very nice apartment. One final point : there was no clothes storage available in bedroom 2 due to the placement in the wardrobes of hoovers, ironing boards, ladders etc. These need to be housed elsewhere ( perhaps an external box on the patio ? )

Fantastic apartment with beautiful views

Our family of 4 (with 2 17 year olds) loved staying here for 11 nights. The apartment was comfortable & very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, pots & pans. We really enjoyed the beautiful large terrace & the clean pool. Quite area & always easy to park. You need to be physically mobile to walk up the hill to apartment in heat from beach but this is typical of most of accommodation in area. We didn’t want to go home & would love to return some day.
