Welcoming, informative host. Cozy cabin with an exceptional view! Downstairs vs. upstairs temperature differences were a little more extreme than would be ideal. Without a fire to help warm the downstairs, a 72 degree thermostat would get the upstairs to around 86. Telescope was broken and did not work. Bunk room was quite drafty in windy weather. Appliances are nice and updated. Well supplied with firewood which was much appreciated during our subzero weekend!

This cabin was so cute! I loved that it was not at the top of the mountain for a shorter drive home. We always love visiting wintergreen and its even better when you can find a property such as this. I can imagine the view in the winter is wonderful when the trees are bare. Look forward to another visit soon!

Perfect Wintergeen restreat

The view from the house is special - we loved hearing the sounds of crickets and birds in the evenings and watching sunrise. The house was comfortable and practical - appreciated having lots of hooks to hang towels and bags, The kids room with 4 beds and a sofa was perfect for our gang. We had a great stay. And owner was very responsive and easy to work with.

Beautifully renovated home that was a perfect getaway for our family. Great mountain views for a morning coffee on the back porch, including countless butterflies and several hummingbirds, attracted by all the wild flowers on the hillside. Contrary to previous negative reviews, the house was very well stocked with everything that we could have needed.
