The hotel was clean, nice and convenient (we were attending an event at Nissan stadium). Lobby was well done and rooms were what you’d expect from a Westin. Even on the 15th floor, we heard street noise all night. The front desk screwed up and charged my credit card repeatedly, resulting in almost double being charged to my credit card for the room than should have been (we were already paying almost $1600 for the 2 nights). When I asked at the front desk, they not only didn’t fix it, they charged MORE. I’m sure it’ll come out in the wash, but I’m glad that I hadn’t used my debit card nor planned to use that credit card for anything else because they maxed out my limit, to the point that my cc declined the last charge they tried to put on it! They offered nothing to compensate me for the error nor the time I spent at the front desk trying to correct their error. They did promptly refund the internet fee I should not have been charged since I am a Bonvoy member.

We loved the rooftop and restaurant. The room was spacious and very clean. The lobby was beautiful and staff accommodating.

$50 to park each night I thought was a bit much but I guess you’d expect that in a popular hotel. Wi-Fi didn’t work but still got charged. They say they will refund it to me

We chose to Uber and not rent a car chiefly due to valet costs. We didn’t perceive Nashville to be like NYC from what we had heard. This was our first Westin stay ever and it was beautiful to the eye. The hardest part about coming out of a pandemic is expectations and service needs. You don’t want to make people go out of their way because it seems selfish and it’s hard to find good staffing. That being said, the hotel cost seemed high for everything to look nice and be in a good location. There’s a saying that goes something like “in a product, you can get quality, service and good pricing but feel lucky if you get 2/3.” We assumed by paying high price, the quality and service would be better….it didn’t feel that way. Nothing went wrong, it just felt like we paid too much and may not return to a Westin in the future. There are other brands that may attract our loyalty. Thanks!!!
