Overall, this house was amazing! It was built in the late 1800s, so as long as you appreciate that history, you’ll love staying here! The location was great! It was about a 12 minute walk to all the fun on Broadway. The walk back was uphill, but good for burning some extra calories before bed. The kitchen was well equipped for some basic cooking, and the gathering spaces on the first floor were nice. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Admittedly, when you first pull up to the house, you might be questioning your decision on the booking, but as soon as you open the door, you’ll fall in love! The host was quick to reply to any communication. Thanks for a great stay in Nashville!

40th Birthday Celebration

This is a beautiful historic home with a ton of character. We celebrated my sister’s 40th birthday in this home over the weekend and it did not disappoint with its high ceilings and time period architecture and decorations. It has 4 charmingly comfortable bedrooms with 3 fully stocked bathrooms upstairs as well as a half bath downstairs. The updated kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to have a small 40th birthday brunch with the 4 couples that stayed. We loved the homes’ historic beauty and sitting in the moody library with coffee. We walked to Broadway both nights, but took a taxi back as it was uphill for the walk back. I highly recommend booking this property if you are visiting Nashville.

Beautiful property, but with issues

The Historic Henrie House is a trip back to the late 1800’s, with intricate architectural features, expansive rooms with high ceilings, that gives one an ample chance to step back in time. The bed rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds, and the bath rooms are tastefully designed to be luxurious yet keeping with the theme. The kitchen is renovated with top of the line appliances, cabinetry and other features. But very much in keeping with the theme of the building. My family reunion of four siblings with three spouses had plenty of space for meals and family fun, as well as to relax and visit. A notable issue to be aware of is that all 4 bedrooms are located on the second floor, at the top of a significant set of stairs that were a common source of complaining for some in my group. This was not in any of the property description, and was not provided until after accommodations had been secured. For my wife and I, we would very much consider the Henrie House for future visits to Nashville. We had a great time!
