No electricity in two bathrooms and one bedroom until 5pm of the second day. No hangers to hang up clothes.The lower bedroom was freezing and we requested some blankets and got no response.The lower bedroom closet was used to store used wet towels and the room smelled after a couple of days. So that bedroom was a disaster. The laundry room was locked and we had no access. The bedroom on second floor with the garage door had no access to the toilet, that door was locked. None of the ceiling fans worked, the electrician had no clue what was wrong.The kitchen didn’t have a frying pan so was not able to cook breakfast. Not enough silverware for everyone to eat together.No dish cloth or pot scrubber and only one dish towel. I used a wash cloth from the bathroom to clean up.No instructions on how to use the Wolf stove(we had to utube it). No instructions on how to use the garbage disposal. I did take a picture of a dent in the wall that existed before our arrival but forgot to send it to you.Just so you know the first floor shower drips and you should have it fixed to save on the water bill. On a positive note, the loft has a lot of charm, loved all the brick walls and location was great.

The location, inside space, and room situation is great for a group. Plenty of space to sit around and hang out. The kids enjoyed having a loft space separate from the adults.

The loft is very unique! The beds were comfy and the living space was very nice. The location is perfect. We were on Broadway in literally 5 mins. Those 24 stairs are a bummer, but you get over that once you walk in the door. It is a very quiet welcoming space.That being said, there are some definite issues with the property. Since we spent such a short amount of time in the unit, we did not make a big stink about it. We had 10 adults in the unit and it certainly was big enough to accommodate us. However, as a group who rents VRBO’s 2 to 3 times a year, there are things we notice that are worth mentioning. First, there is only a 3 cup coffee maker…..we spent an hour in the morning just making coffee. There is a Keurig there, but that was not mentioned in the listing. The loft is rated for 10 people, but there are not enough dishes, utensils or drinking glasses to accommodate that many people. We had to use wine glass when we wanted a glass of water or juice. The building is old, which is part of its charm, but the electrical system blew any time a blow dryer was used. None of the fans in the entire unit worked.The heat in the upstairs bedrooms was spotty and we had to call maintenance twice and wound up using portable electric heaters instead of the splits. Again, the upside is, maintenance was very quick to respond.All in all, we would probably stay there again, just based on comfort and charm.

Inaccurate description of beds-

The stairs up to the property were really dirty. We walked into the loft and it was beautiful and clean. We quickly found out that the loft doesn’t have a queen sized bed like advertised and there is NO sleeper sofa in the living area so we were short beds. There were no blankets. The bedding was cheap feeling sheets and top cover was a waffled sheet. The downstairs bath with the king room could not control the water temperature in the shower. It was only an on off switch… very weird! Also there were very few drinking cups. You can have 12 people in the house, but only 3 glass cups???? For the price we paid, the location was great, place was pretty, but bedding missing, kitchen items missing and really upset with the lack of beds. Management responded quickly and I encourage them to change the false advertising. Very disappointed and had to find other places for people to sleep.

Over all stay was good. Property manager Chloe was FABULOUS. I have been reading that for over 9 months the ceiling fans did not work and that there were some temperature issues with previous guests. I requested box fans prior to my arrival and they were not there. Chloe responded quickly and had two delivered.Negatives:Each guest was only provided with one bath towel for a 4 night stay. No washer & dryer. Induction cook top with only three pots that could work but no frying pan. No cookie sheets. One glass bakeware so we made an egg casserole for breakfast. Room with Queen bed was so stuffy even with the fan. Had to sleep with the door open.Front door entrance is right next door to a vape & smoke shop. Encountered many people standing in front of our entrance smoking as we were coming and going.

Disappointed

Great location to Broadway. Very nice unit but nowhere did it state until the final confirmation that there was no elevator and 24 steps to the front door. That would have been great if I wasn’t with a 70’s plus crowd. Hot water didn’t work in one of the bathrooms. Had to have two maintenance calls. Power went out in basement. Freezer flooded..Best part was on the 3rd day we found a suitcase in one of the bedrooms that was not ours. Zero concession was offered for all of the hassles.

Great for groups/Great location

Unit layout was fantastic for our group of5 buddies getting together for a weekend. Location was easy walk to broadway and all the fun and lots of restaurants close by. Unit is Very clean and spacious. The only complaints was very spotty Wi-Fi, there were briefly some terrible odors coming in from the dumpsters in the back alley, and or the restaurant below and the vape shop underneath played techno music all night loud enough to hear but not loud enough to be a total nuisance. But overall great experience.

BEWARE! Looks good at first glance but many issues and poor communication.

At first glance, the loft was beautiful but we had multiple problems during our stay. The top bunks were unusable for safety reasons. The railings were wobbly and the support beams were bent. This left us with two less beds then advertised. We also only had 7 bath towels for 10 people and it took days for them to bring us more. The kitchen sink backed up when the dishwasher was run and there was no switch for the disposal. The fans didn't work. The upstairs was extremely hot and the downstairs was freezing. An HVAC tech came and fixed it but showed up a day later than he was scheduled to come. The pillows were blood stained and the mattresses had urine stains on them. The bathroom fan was filthy and the bathroom door has no lock or handle on it so you could see right in. The fire alarm started chirping during our stay. We reached out to VACASA and got no response. This lead to people being unable to sleep as it chirped all night long. The fridge had a sign that said it would take up to 48 hours for it to cool and the freezer door was open when we arrived. There were wires hanging out of the wall in the closet next to dirty laundry. There was also dirty towels under the bed. The light switches had been wired wrong so the switch at the bottom of the living room loft stairs only made the lights blink. This meant the lights had to be turned off at the top of the stairs and you had to walk down in the dark. Many of the issues could have easily been solved with better communication

Showers Lack Pressure

Everything else was great. At first, we didn't have hot water but the team came out and fixed it right away. Great Service! However, the pressure was just low, unless you turned the heat up and not everyone wants scalding water. Great property. I would stay again.

Horrible Experience

After receiving numerous confirmations that our unit was ready for our arrival, even one as our plane was landing that the unit was ready for early check-in, I, my wife and 6 close friends arrived only to find our unit completely torn apart for some kind of remodeling or damage repair. Kitchen floor and appliance torn out and scattered in the hallways, ceilings torn apart, etc. Customer service with VRBO and Vacasa was very unhelpful and we were left to our own devices to scramble and find another place to stay that could accommodate 8 guests. Extremely unpleasant experience.

Dirty flooring missing in the kitchen. Tape on the floor. Homeless people outside the door. Could not regulate water temperature in downstairs shower. Just very hot water very dangerous. . None of the bedrooms doors shut or open properly.

21st birthday weekend

A great place and a fun weekend! The front of the building is a little misleading, but the place was great, fit us all (8) very comfortably, and held up to our expectations! Would definitely stay here again!
