We stayed her to go to a concert and we had an absolute blast. The hotel was gorgeous and in a great area. Super walkable and only a short uber or walk downtown. There were great restaurants nearby too.

Bar manager and staff were super rude. Instead of lounging at the Hotel, we went 100 yards to a restaurant to enjoy ourselves. The hotel itself is nice, but the staff ruins the whole experience unfortunately.

Needs some work

When I got there, everybody was very nice and friendly. Room was nice the next morning I walked down and I hear the people at the desk talking badly about another customer loudly enough for everyone else to hear. My stay was from Friday until Monday my room never got cleaned. I had to ask them on Sunday if the maid could come and clean the room. She did but all she did was change out the trash and put a few towels did not put an extra toilet paper, which by Sunday night all the toilet paper was gone through. The picture provided was the lobby restrooms, which is unacceptable. Those should always be clean. And even Monday morning by 10 AM elevator floors were sticky and as you exit the first floor, there was some liquid spilled that had still not been cleaned up.

Nice hotel, valet services overpriced

I enjoyed my stay at Caption. Clean rooms, convenient location, nice front desk staff. I was not so happy about the Valet. The parking garage they use is serviced by Metropolis so if you have an account you will be charged because it scans your tag. On top of paying $60/night Valet I was also charged $42/night through the garage services. I was told it would be refunded within 3-5 business days it has now been 8 days. I’ve called twice now and still haven’t received my refund. Paying over $200 in parking fees is absolutely ridiculous. If you’re going to use a parking garage that charges then you should have the option to self park.

It was just for 1 night everything was nice and clean. Missing a remote to the tv i looked everywhere for it also tried to tell them this morning but it was busy and i was in a hurry to leave. Walls very thin heard whole conversations even someone coughing. Otherwise soft bed and felt clean.

Perfect for business trips

The hotel's location was perfect for walking to restaurants and other hotels in the area. The grocery store near by was also a bonus! The entire building was clean and welcoming. The room was just the right size for my quick trip.

Watch for added hidden charges

The lights are ridiculous . They turn off when you want them on entry. Won’t shut off when you want them off bathroom with glass door so light reflects in mirror right onto bed keeping us awake. Smells like smoke through vent. Air system won’t shut off and fan extremely noisy all night. Valet only parking not part of room and can’t add it to room bill. Instead cumbersome phone credit card system so you can’t request to get your car until you’ve entered all this info and they charge close to $70 for one night parking.
