Overall, this property is fine and functional. It is a rental that needs a good refresh, however. The listing is incorrect in that there is not a queen size bed. It is definitely a full size and we would not have chosen this property if we knew that. The dining room seats five IF you get one of the folding chairs from outside that is listed as “patio furniture”. We had two issues that did not get resolved… the fitted sheet in the primary bedroom was VERY old and “pilly”. It had several stains, holes, and short black hairs on it when we arrived. Since we arrived late at night, we slept on it very uncomfortably and messaged the manager in the morning. We asked for a new sheet and after ten hours of no reply ended up buying a new sheet ourselves in the evening. This property also is not legally compliant as there are no smoke detectors in two of the bedrooms and no battery in the third bedroom smoke detector. There were several other strange things like: no kitchen towels, dishes that are labeled “not for food use (only decoration)” and can’t be used in the microwave, arrangement of the bunk beds so the closet isn’t accessible, and bedside lamps unplugged because they don’t reach an outlet. Responses we received from the property manager felt like they were AI generated (and confirmed when we pasted them into an AI checker). The good things about this property are the lovely neighborhood and beautiful view of the lake.
