Overall, we had a good stay. The home is well appointed, comfortable, and nicely furnished.Upon arrival, we noticed a fair amount of dog hair on some furnishings and in the pool. After reporting it, management provided a credit, which we appreciated.During an unexpected cold spell, the heat stopped working. It required multiple visits to resolve, which meant coordinating repairs during our stay. The keypad lock also stopped working for a period of time, so we had to rely on a key, and the door was somewhat difficult to lock and unlock. Both issues were eventually repaired.Communication was uneven. Initially, we only had the app, where responses sometimes took 1–3 days. Once we obtained a direct phone number for a Vacasa staff member, communication by phone or text was usually quick and helpful, and they followed up to confirm repairs.We also requested clarification on charges and an itemized accounting. Vacasa directed us to VRBO, but we did not receive a response.We checked out early, left the home very clean, and notified management, though we did not receive an acknowledgment.The neighborhood is mostly well kept, with a few nearby properties less maintained.Overall, the home is comfortable and well equipped. Some maintenance and communication issues created inconvenience, but once resolved, the stay improved.
