Bienvenido a Any Excuse: nuestra cabaña familiar en la playa ubicada en South Nag’s Head, Carolina del Norte (milepost 17. 5). Llamamos a nuestra cabaña "Cualquier excusa" porque, sinceramente, ¡usaremos cualquier excusa para pasar tiempo en los Outer Banks! Nuestra cabaña está amueblada con muchos toques personales y comodidades modernas para que se sienta como en casa. El acceso público a la playa está a pocos pasos de la cabaña (1/2 cuadra).

Cualquier excusa es una cabaña de 3 dormitorios y 2 baños. El cuarto de abajo está amueblado con una cama queen y tiene un porche trasero proyectado. Arriba, hay un amplio dormitorio con una cama king y una habitación más pequeña con una cama de tamaño completo. Se proporcionan sábanas. Ambas habitaciones de arriba tienen terrazas privadas. Un colchón de aire queen también está disponible para su uso. Hay dos baños completos, uno abajo y uno arriba con combinación de bañera / ducha en ambos.

Estamos equipados con WIFI de alta velocidad gratis, 3 televisores con cable y 2 reproductores blue ray. La cocina está equipada con estufa / horno, lavavajillas, refrigerador, microondas, tostadora, Keurig y una cafetera tradicional. También se suministran platos, cubiertos, cristalería, ollas, sartenes, etc. El comedor tiene capacidad para 6-8 y hay asientos adicionales para 2 en el bar de la cocina. Lavadora y secadora se encuentran en el piso principal. Nuestra cómoda área de estudio incluye un sofá de tamaño completo, una silla de gran tamaño con otomana, sillón reclinable y balancín giratorio simple. Hay una gran terraza frente al comedor / estudio con un banco incorporado en cada extremo, 2 columpios en el porche y 2 sillas. Esta cubierta está orientada al océano y es ideal para relajarse en cualquier momento del día.

Hay un bonito espacio de almacenamiento en la planta baja donde encontrará sillas de playa, juguetes de playa, juegos al aire libre, bicicletas y tablas de surf. Una parrilla de propano está disponible para su uso. Hay una ducha al aire libre con agua fría / caliente para una limpieza fácil y divertida después de un día en la playa. Nuestro camino extra grande permite espacio para disfrutar de la hamaca o crear un área de entretenimiento al aire libre.

Another great stay

This is our second time staying at "Any Excuse" and my family will likely continue this tradition. The house is so comfortable and well stocked, plus it's just a block from the beach. It's a great location to go either north or south to sight see.... after getting a little too sunburned the first weekend. The kitchen is particularly nice with a recent remodel and well stocked pots/pans, spices, dishes, and standard condiments. There are numerous restaurant options within a 15 min drive. The bedrooms are also very nicely setup with extra pillows, blankets/sheets and blow up beds. Even with the rip tide warnings at the beginning of week, we thoroughly enjoyed walking on the beautiful beach toward Jennette's Pier. A great place to stay!

Outstanding!

The cottage was in an excellent location. A short walk to the beach or a short drive to the public access. Which also I had restrooms a plus. Lots of beach equipment to utilize and bikes that we rode on the path to a small local grocery store and to ice cream. Also, corn hole boards! For a little family competition. The cottage was super clean! And laid out well. Decks off every room for observation, sun exposure, screened in or swinging on the hammocks to enjoy a morning coffee or evening wind down. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of linens and towels. We were close to Fish heads, one of our favorite restaurants and manual for the lost colony outdoor theater. And Bodie Island lighthouse, which is a fun climb. Most Definitely a cottage, we would stay at again.

The house was well stocked with beach gear, bikes, etc. Lots of beach towels to use and a beach buggy were especially appreciated. Proximity to public beach access in an area that is not densely populated provided to opportunity to spread out on the beach we were hoping for. We would book this house again!

Fantastic getaway!

This property delivers on all fronts! The location is great - a block from the beach, and a Rescue station with bathrooms, right at the public access. Everything is provided, from linens to beach umbrella, wagon and chairs. It was impeccably clean, and the four decks provided lots of personal space. A wonderful place to celebrate our 30th anniversary! We will definitely be back!

Cold and rainy but great house

Maybe May wasn't the best time to visit, but despite the weather, the house was great. It was spotless, well-equipped, and a great place to relax. Public access to the beach was across the street and a short distance down. Would consider it again, though maybe picking a better weekend.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

My children and I loved our stay at Any Excuse. I chose this house partially due to reviews of how well stocked the house was. Our stay was short and I didn’t want to have to worry about packing a lot. Anything you could need for a beach getaway was available such as towels, blankets, dishes, etc. The location was perfect and the walk to the beach was easy. Overall very satisfied with our stay!

A wonderful time in the Outer Banks

We had a fantastic time in Nags Head! Any Excuse was immaculately clean, spacious and calm. We enjoyed the hammocks in the front porch and the screened one later in the day. This house is also a block away from the beach so you have easy access. Don’t worry about eating out because the house is well stocked with everything you need to make a nice meal at home. We will definitely be returning!

Wonderful vacation

We had a wonderful stay at "Any Excuse". The cottage was spotless and extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and very functional. We cooked most days using both the Weber gas grill and kitchen. The location was just a block from the beach access - very convenient. We appreciated that there was a blow-up bed and although we did not use, there appeared to be a crib, baby gate, etc for babies and toddlers. The storage room was well stocked with numerous beach chairs, umbrellas, a wagon, and tons of kid's beach toys. My family and I look forward to returning.

High light of the trip

For anyone looking for a great setup with everything and anything you could imagine for the beach. This is the house for you. This house made our vacation that much better. No Excuse if you don’t book this Cottage

Very clean, great location (short walk to public beach), excellent host communication and follow up, includes linens and beach towels as well as all beach supplies you need. . They even had crib, high chair and safety gates for our 1 year old grandson. This was our first family trip and we will be back

Home Away From Home

Such an amazing stay! House was beautiful and it had more than you would ever expect. Grab your clothes and that is truly all you need! Very clean and well maintained! We stayed for a week and it truly felt like home! We have a big family, most are grown, except for two. We were able to have all our children and granddaughter with us for a weekend and the rest of the week we had 6 people that included my husband and I that fit comfortably. Beach access was close and stores and restaurants were close as well. We will definitely be continued guests! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! We stayed June 10th-17th, 2023.
