We were faced with a major water leak from the above condo we immediately for the very first time texted the host and they acted as if they were going to get us another place to stay. 2 hours went by with no contact. The condo next door was put into another condo within 30 mins. After the 2 hr no response they would not even answer our calls. Pictures were sent of the water pouring out of the tv onto the floor and the furniture. Still no contact just a text that they would bring us more hotels. I had to speak to the hotel manager and have her to reach out to Big Fish Rentals. It was not handled properly at all. I will personally not rent from Big Fish rentals again. The hotel was nice and they were very proactive in the situation. They even offered us a room with them at a very reasonable rate. Big Fish Rentals did finally get us another room we asked about another nights stay since our evening into the night was ruined. They did get ID another night at a discounted rate with a late check out then after that was settled i received multiple messages to leave by 10 am. I told them they all needed to get on the same page the reply was we are on the same page but would never answer any calls from me dr by me strict to voice mail.
