Perfect little getaway

The owner was very sweet and made sure that we had everything that we needed for an enjoyable stay. The home was very clean and well furnished. She had even left treats out for our dogs! She provided everything we needed all the way down to bug spray for the mosquitoes. We will definitely be back to rent from her and vrbo.

Our Myrtle Beach Stay

We had a great stay overall. We brought 2 mid-sized dogs with us for their first trip to the beach, which was a really close walk. Everything was close. The Walmart neighborhood store was within 3 blocks as well as a Food Lion. There was also a convenient store within 2 blocks that was right on Ocean Blvd. Compass Cove had a nice bar and grill on the second floor that was within walking distance. The neighbors were friendly. The place itself was cute with all the amenities. There was plenty of hot water for showers. The only thing we found that did not affect us at all was that the 2nd floor toilet and faucet needed to be tightened up a bit. They moved but did not leak. I am only mentioning it so that it can be looked at in the near future. All in all, a great time.

Nice, but not comfortable

Customer service was excellent; we had adequate & timely communication w/ the owner. She was very accommodating & helpful. The condo itself, however, while cute & spacious enough for our family of 4, was not too comfortable. The beds were just ok, but I’ve slept in worse so overall they were comfortable enough. However the futon couch in the living area was very uncomfortable & caused our backs to hurt. Also, additional seating, like a chair in the living area in addition to the couch, would be helpful & make it more accommodating. One couch for 4 people is not enough seating. We had to use one of the wooden dining room chairs for one of us while we sat in the living room together. Also, the condo desperately needs a fresh coat of paint. Lots of chipped paint everywhere & it was just dull looking throughout. It’s an older condo, & otherwise fine in itself; but definitely needs more comfortable seating & a fresh coat of paint (& removing the wallpaper that’s peeling off the wall would make it nicer as well). It’s a great location to the beach; just a short 2 block walk there, & the traffic is minimal. We did hear lots of sirens; everyday that we were there, but didn’t see anything weird or unusual.

We had a pretty significant leak due to the A/C coil freezing. The house was getting hot quickly! Our host was super quick with the response and had someone there to fix the issue super quickly! She answered every question that we had immediately and was super friendly! We had a great experience and built big memories on our trip!

Good Location. House needs some work

Good location. A short walk to the beach. Think small and cut that half. House had a warn out futon that only seated 3 people in the Living Room. No other furniture to sit upon except for hard dining room chairs. AC work great. There was evidence of a roof leak before we came and experienced the leak first hand when Elsa came through. The roof leak should have been fixed or we should have been warned in advance. The 3rd floor was chronically hot. Outside porch was full of debris and warped wood. The gate fell apart while we were there. Spend your money somewhere else.

Just what we needed

Nice stay. It was clean and close to the beach. The property manager was very nice, reached out to make sure everything was ok. The only down side was its three levels so the younger kids took the top floor, which worked out great!. Neighbors were friendy.
