Comfortable beds, pleasant staff and extra amenities like a heated towel bar- perfect for drying wet Oktoberfest clothing. Breakfast had a wide variety of breads, pastries, fruits, cold cuts and cheeses, cereal, delicious overnight oats. Would definitely stay at Hotel Brunnenhof on my next trip to Munich!

This is an older hotel. Parking isn't great, lots of construction was going on in the neighborhood. The hotel was very quiet though. Breakfast was an additional expense of $14 which was worth it, a very nice buffet. We arrived later than expected but check-in was a breeze. The room was fair sized but bathroom was surprisingly large. Bonus: the hotel was within walking distance to central train station. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Short sightseeing break

Very helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast, nice clean room and great to have a bed each for the child rather than having to share a small sofa bed like at other hotels that claim to accommodate families. Easy access via foot and tram to the old town and other key attractions. Maps provided by the hotel were also helpful.

Affordable decent stay in Munich

The young lady at the front desk was so wonderful and helpful. We did not do any research so wasn’t aware there was no air-conditioning in Munich city center unless you did a really really expensive hotel but they provided four fans which helped a lot and made it comfortable being from the states and the south we are used to the air. Other than that, the place was safe comfortable had a decent breakfast and great coffee. It is in an area that has some people standing out smoking and little convenient stores, but that was no bother and it’s right off the beaten path so it wasn’t loud but so close to everything to walk

Great for a short stay, but wouldn’t recommend for a longer trip. The room was spacious and clean, but was stifling without air conditioning. They provided fans, but the window faced a courtyard so there was not much of a breeze at night. Parking was offsite and they gave us a voucher to cover about half of the cost. Neighborhood was very walkable and just to the left of the hotel is an amazing place for breakfast called Cafe and Backerie Maurer. The food was delicious (pancakes, eggs, bagels etc.) and more economical than breakfast at the hotel. Staff was friendly.

I would pass on this one

Very basic accommodation. It was clean but there was a strong smell of smoke in the hallway outside our non smoking room and the bathroom smelled like sewer. There was no AC which I didn’t notice when I booked and probably would have been fine if there hadn’t been a heatwave. There was a fan in the room and we opened the windows but it was pretty hot and miserable. The street is a little sketchy with lots of hookah lounges. The front desk staff was friendly.
