Bulson Creek 1 Bedroom Guest House Suite

Relax with up to 4 guests at this quiet location just 3 minutes from I-5. We are located in the Skagit Valley at the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. The Skagit Valley provides many opportunities for entertainment. Annual local entertainment includes the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival attracting crowds from all over the world. Other activities near by include: Mt. Baker & Stevens Pass for skiing, Deception Pass for views of the San Juan Islands. Many great local dining options and NW breweries!
The space:
This guest suite is located on the 2nd floor of a standalone building approximately 125 ft. from our residence. Our property is located on 5 acres with family next door who own the adjacent 6.5 acres. The building sits in a open grass field close to the forest. A small creek runs through the forest at the bottom of the ravine. There is complementary EV charging inside the garage portion of the building.
Guest access:
Access to the building is provided through the 1st floor garage and also deck/stairs leading to the bedroom from the field. The garage bay where parking is available is the only part of the 1st floor accessible to guests.
Other entrances (2nd garage door and standard door are for owner/maintenance access only, under occasional use.
Other things to note:
Building owners/operators are located on the property near the suite location. Please contact us for any questions/comments/help needed during your stay with us.

We stayed one night at the Bulson Creek Guest House at the midway point of our 2 week roadtrip. It was everything we needed and more. The property is beautiful and the house is top notch. We enjoyed the nice, hot shower and the amazing sleep number bed. It was so comfortable and felt like heaven after several nights in an tent. Our main reason for choosing this property was to be able to launder our clothes and the washer/dryer made that possible. The home was clean and the host was wonderfully responsive and accommodating. A great stay!

Great Green Stay

Green not only because of the charging port in the garage but also because of the fields of green and the woods just beyond as you look out the windows or relax on the private deck. Amazing place to stay for the tulip festival and a great launching spot for hiking on the west side, Deception pass, or a longer trip into the North Cascades. Everything inside is new and tastefully decorated. Expressing maker was a fun bonus. My wife and I had a wonderful time.

Clean, comfortable, and quiet

The location is halfway between Stanwood and Mount Vernon which was perfect for visiting my elderly mother and attending events. It was a bit cramped for 4 adults, but that could be traveling with picky YOUNG adults, my children! I would definitely stay again, and highly recommend, especially if you enjoy having a well equipped kitchen while traveling. Thank you to our wonderful hosts!

Great place to spend a week!

Visiting family in Mt Vernon, and this was close enough but more country. We had everything anyone would need — kitchen basics plus tons of extras, Sleep number bed, soft linens and fluffy towels. We would recommend this spot highly.

The property was beautiful inside! The hosts thought of everything you could possibly need. The bed was comfy and the shower large with great water pressure. The kitchen was amazing! I loved having the option of a garage because the weather wasn’t so great. The location was also perfect. Off the beaten path but not too much. I would definitely book again!
