Cheap and cheerful overnighter

The hotel was convenient for the route we were on. The receptionist was friendly. The room was clean and tidy but minimalist. The room was small with bed against the wall so accessible from one side only. The bed itself was comfortable. Being convenient for the route it was also noisy all night if you are a light sleeper ear plugs would help. But it was cheap!

Room was very hot and security meant it wasn't possible to leave a window open overnight. It was a tiny room, a bit cell-like. The pillows had weird synthetic elasticated covers on. I don’t think I'd choose to spend another night there. On the plus side the staff were friendly and the breakfast was OK.

Chambre relativement propre. Personnel à l'accueil souriant. L'isolation acoustique est nul, on entend les ronflements des chambres en voisines et les bruits de la route sont présents toute la nuit.. Pour cela on ne reviendra pas car après 500 kms, on a besoin de dormir.
