There was poor lighting in my bathroom, and my key cards rarely worked well, meaning I had to take the elevators 30 floors several times to get reception to reprogramme my key cards.

F1

Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Maybe the bathroom area. Seemed a little outdated.
Location: Plenty to do. Shopping & restaurants were very close.
Hotel is at a great location for F1 fans. Just a short walk to metro thru hotel lobby and one stop to the track. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was convenient as well if you are driving. It was about $21 dollars/night. Food courts are also conveniently located thru the hotel lobby. Many restaurants to choose from outside the hotel as well within a short walking distance.

Our room smelled a little like a gym locker room.

The beds are comfortable but it was not a clean room. I think the smell was coming from the bathroom and the old dirty carpeting which was stained in a couple areas. I have stayed here before, but don't think I will again. Side note the breakfast buffet was pretty good!

Mold and Rust in the tub and the Bathroom

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Update the rooms and clean the bathrooms.
Location: There are plenty of restaurants nearby.
While hotel stuff was fairly pleasant, the hotel room was really old and not updated. There was mold and rust in the bathtub, as well as a crack. The toilet cover was coming off. The bed was old and uncomfortable. I don't recommend this hotel.

Nice clean secure hotel and close to Gay district.

Pros: As above
Cons: Room only had a shower, missed a leisurely bath! A small fridge in room would have been appreciated.
Location: Walking distance to subways, gay village, and entertainment
Staff were excellent, rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Great Location

Cons: Needs updating. Policing in area could be improved.
Have stayed here many times and recommend it mostly because it is so centrally located but it is starting to show age, like peeling wallpaper, banged up furninture, peeling plaster in pool but for the $ great value. Food shopping and open food court steps away as are all the happenings on St. Catherine Street.

A solid 3-1/2 star, but location is not the best

Cons: Nothing close
Furniture, amenities, etc. all very standard for a 3-1/2 star hotel. Fitness room was pretty basic. Location is the biggest drawback. Yes, technically, it's downtown, and if you're coming in or leaving from the bus station it's a perfect location, but my own strong preference is to stay farther to the west, in the true central core of the city (bounded by Guy, Jeanne Mance, Sherbrooke & St. Jacques Streets).
