Family reunion

The property was beautiful. It was big enough for my parents, sister and her family and mine. Great place to spend time together with enough space for everyone. We were close to everything we wanted to do. Great location. If we come back we will definitely book again.

Not the charmer as advertised

This property was not as advertised in the listing.This is an older home which looks good from the outside among other poorly kept homes in the area.The inside needs a good paint job in the main living and hallway areas. Floor vents have furnace filters in them that have not been replaced in some time and add to the unpleasantness of the home. The living room has covers on the furniture ( that don't show in the pictures) that appear to be dirty and make you feel uncomfortable.There is no eating/drinking in this room. The bedrooms are average. Bathrooms are average and the towels are minimal and most need replacing.We were told when we checked in that there were a few holes in the walls from previous guests and it appeared they were in the process of repairing these areas.This is a non-smoking property yet the home reeked of marijuana which the owner blamed on previous guests.This is not the home that was advertised and received such favorable ratings on VRBO.In fairness to the owners, they were very professional and supportive in our dealings with them. We ended up staying only one night of a planned 5 night stay. They did work with us and VRBO to refund our money and other fees.

The home is larger than it appears in the pictures and really accommodates 8 people comfortably! It was centrally located to many activities and in a quiet community. The hosts were great and are local! Great choice for your stay in Montgomery.

A Beautiful & Spacious Home

My family and I were pleased my our accommodations. The host were very consistent and available in terms of communications. The home is very spacious, they provided complimentary soap, snacks, water, and towels. You will not be disappointed by your stay. The neighborhood is very pleasant as well and you’re only 6 miles from downtown.

Amazing Stay in Alabama

My family and I came to Alabama for a family member's wedding. We stayed at the wonderful home and really enjoyed ourselves. If and when I return to Montgomery, AL. I'll definitely inquire about renting this property again.

Great location and layout

We enjoyed our stay at this house. It is easily accessible to downtown Montgomery by car and was great for 4 people as it has 4 sizable bedrooms. We liked that it allowed us a quiet place to come back to in the evenings. The hosts were also super responsive whenever we reached out. Would recommend!

Sweet 17 Slumber Party /Brunch

I reserved the "Charmer" for my daughters 17th birthday, & Chef prepared Brunch. The home was absolutely cozy, & spacious! The host communication was "top-tier"! Enough space for everyone in our group. We had room for game night, movies, and sidebar conversations. Really happy about our first aBNB experience, Daniel and Xavier were accommodating and amazing hosts. Highly recommend this rental for all your weekend getaway needs.

Nice older home

It was a nice stay. There was an issue with the back door not working but it was fixed immediately. The chair legs in the living room need to be tightened or replaced. The vents and baseboards need to be cleaned. The house is drafty when it’s cold outside. Other than these few things, it was a nice stay to be an older home. The owner(s) is very nice, friendly and helpful.

Golden Girls Excursion

This trip was for Black Golden girl's over 60! The accommodations were very nice a d clean. The host should allow me to purchase this hidden gem. I love the space! The property accommodated all four of us comfortably with room to spare. My friend's and i were able to visit various museums and dine enjoyably. Montgomery is my home so it was nice to see family as well. The Capitol Heights Charmer is a must on my next visit to Montgomery! I love the fact that you had a outdoor screened in patio. It really accommodated my smoking habit I'm ashamed to say! Thanks for you speedy reply to my messages and suggestions 🙂
